Not sure if it has been posted yet as I haven't caught up yet, but the 2.99 Kleenex coupon has been scanning off anything for me today, including a shop which did not include Andrew or Kleenex

I was wondering if that would happen.:D

    Anyone else?

    Hook, line & sinker?

I'm going with sling your hook as the most obvious and easiest thing for the Sun to use. Great result though :D

Nothing much to report bar a £2 womble. Used some high APGs tonight and trout spouted some corkers. After reading the stories on here and having been majorly trouted at that store a few weeks ago, I just kept quiet and let her ramble. I got:-

    - I don't think we take these any more
    - not seen these in ages (she must have forgotten the last time she trouted me a couple of weeks ago!)
    - it's only one per transaction
    - one colleague saying she'd had a letter saying we don't take them any more
    - another colleague saying "well you could take it this once but speak to xxx (the manager) tomorrow"

Supervisor was summoned and she just told her to put them through. Trout wasn't amused :D

I've just had a quick flick through the grabbit forum. Without wishing in any way to be rude to other posters, or detract from their generosity of spirit in wishing to share their finds, I'm sure I can't be the only one nowadays who's sometimes astonished by what other people consider a bargain. It's the same as when I'm standing in the queue in S or T's, and the people in front of me are happily handing over £150+ for a trolley of nothing particularly special. The Elite are definitely the hardcore section of MSE. If we ever do a flashmob, bags I organise the choir, and bags we sing this (much more suitable for us than whoever Gareth Malone has got singing it at the minute)

I can not sing.. but i'll join choir .. and yes when people say they got a bargain i think HOW MUCH :rotfl::rotfl:

    Evening everyone.

Been lurking for last couple of hours trying to catch up and plotting a loo roll raid on T tomorrow. DH not going to be pleased as I've challenged him to only shop at sada the rest of the month using the £48 worth of APGs from glitches and wombles.

  • I think I'll spend £15 on the SS tomorrow and see if it will accept the £2.99 coupon or not without SA. Hopefully not!

I have just done one and it accepted the first one bt not the second 2 without authorisation. Great SA she was so busy she didnt bother looking at them.

Just done the first night run after work 3 shiny wipey overpriced doodahs, 3 andrex. Inserted 3 coupons - got 6 back :D

Gonna have to rethink my strategy tomorrow cos my loo roll still cost me 50p a pack and I normally only spend £1.75 on a pack of 12 from Aldi, so although it's nice posh stuff I'm not saving myself anything that I wouldnt normally spend ifswim.
Think I'll have to do 3 shiny wipey expensive doodah thingamebobs and only 2 toilet roll.

Can anyone remember somone posted it was working on a £1 kleenex item, wonder if it produced a till spit as well?

Yesterday when I bought loo roll and the sheets in same shop I got two till spits, so I think it is giving the till spits with both.

With regards to coupons I seem to be getting unlucky lately, with the sa only accepting one per product, calling over sv, who also says one per product. The other week they wouldn't even let me use the car ones on more than one item. ie had 5 to buy but could only use one coupon, I told them to keep the lot and walked out, I should have said I'd take it up with HO, just for fun.
Will be trying my luck again later on.

It is getting really difficult to get them to accept vouchers  my sis and her friend went to T's her friend had no problem but my sis was not allowed to use any at all. Manager was called over. He said were no longer accepting these coupons as we have lost thousands over the past week with them. My sis said she would be calling HO

Disappointed that A5DA haven't recognised Morrisons' multibuy offers on my latest shop. Heinz Big Soups 3 for £2 and Hot Pots 2 for £2. I've emailed them. I know they have had issues but their Price Guarantee needs to be seen to be fair and they can't apply their own multibuy discounts whilst ignoring those of competitors.

OK - I just performed the following: Purchased 2 x 4pk Andrex Gorgeous Comfort, with a couple of other bits of shopping. Through SS till, received two till spits for shine sheets.
Store doesn't stock these, so I got two packs of Facial wipes instead. These on SEL @ £1.49, each till spit worth £2.99, so I added another pack of the loo roll and some milk and pasta shapes.
Through SS till, received a further THREE till spits (one for each wipes and one for the loo roll) and nothing to pay. Went back and got three packs of the wipes and two more packs of loo roll.
Through the till, nothing to pay. Till spat out another FIVE till spits, one for each wipes, one of each loo roll.
Store was closing so have brought my five spits home - tomorrows another day and will be getting another six packs of wipes and three packs of loo rolls, with nothing to pay and a further NINE till spits by my reckoning.... And breathe!

So - I have five packs of loo roll and five packs of facial wipes, and five more till spits - for an initial outlay of £4. :T

So you're the one that emptied them at bs!!!:p new delivery tomorrow. race ya:D

Well I popped out to T's tonite to get some toilet roll and get free sweaty face wipes, but I couldn't find 'em so I gave that up.

Then I got caught up in a frenzy at the reduced counter.
I'm not a fighter so I just gave that up.

Then I remembered chat about 4p bikinis and 4p sunglasses on the new 1p and 2p thread.
So I went and got 6 bikini bottoms all shapes and sizes for 4p each and a huge bikini top (40 f or something) for my fave charity shop.

Then I scanned some ladies sunglasses and they were 4p each, so I got 8 of those. They were the only sunglasses left in the whole clothing department, on a hanging strip in ladies wear Bar Code 5 052909 478416 marked at £5 cost 4p. You can't miss them they have 'leopard print' frames

Then I went back to the reduced counter and the lions had had their fill, just a few vultures left ! I bought 10 packs raspberries 20p each, blackberries 10p ham, sausages, chicken slices all 80% off and various bits.

I will put the sunglasses on the new 1p and 2p thread tomorrow sometime as that is where I found 'em.
