Evening all. I hope you all had a good day and are well. I just could not muster enough energy to drive to Mr T so did the local shops and and a larger Mr S.
Local Mr S stores have some sale stuff in the freezer some icecream and ice lollies and chocolate desserts and larger Mr S has blue dragon sweet and sour sauce for 50p.
    I got some lovely whoopsies.

Will have to see if I can get to MR T tomorrow.

I hope you all enjoy the rest of the evening.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

okay, thank you. I'm trying to work out how much I need to spend to not have the SA come over.

It was a manned till on this transaction
  • I just wanted to say sorry I haven't posted and I wasn't here just for the apg glitch, but I really am no company right now.

I do hope everyone else is ok, hugs (()) to those that need them.

But my head is in the shed, the hospital have rang today to say that Dad now can't have his bladder operation as the biopsy they took from his bowel a couple of days ago shows that his bowel is not of a good enough standard, he had alot removed due to his bowel cancer.

So they are going to do radiotherapy but all along they said the bladder had to come out, the chemo never worked, twice he's been for pre-op assessments.

So thats the reason I am not joining in, not because I was just here for the apg glitch, I will be back when my head is a bit straighter.

Sorry if I have missed anything/anyone/event etc that is important, I have not read back.

Also poor April is still missing. Its very sad.

    Take Care everyone
    Budgie xxx
Aww my thoughts are with you both :)

OK - I just performed the following: Purchased 2 x 4pk Andrex Gorgeous Comfort, with a couple of other bits of shopping. Through SS till, received two till spits for shine sheets.
Store doesn't stock these, so I got two packs of Facial wipes instead. These on SEL @ £1.49, each till spit worth £2.99, so I added another pack of the loo roll and some milk and pasta shapes.
Through SS till, received a further THREE till spits (one for each wipes and one for the loo roll) and nothing to pay. Went back and got three packs of the wipes and two more packs of loo roll.
Through the till, nothing to pay. Till spat out another FIVE till spits, one for each wipes, one of each loo roll.
Store was closing so have brought my five spits home - tomorrows another day and will be getting another six packs of wipes and three packs of loo rolls, with nothing to pay and a further NINE till spits by my reckoning.... And breathe!

So - I have five packs of loo roll and five packs of facial wipes, and five more till spits - for an initial outlay of £4. :T

This looks good, as my local does not stock shine sheets. Thanks for this, will try tomorrow.

    Sally.

Thanks for simple explanation - I really thought this was an extra coupon thing:o - are the till spits coming from Self serve does anyone know? And does normal self serve coupon scanning fiasco count with the till spits?( i.e enough money spent)
I think I'll have to have a real go at this tomorrow ! Thanks everyone !

I think all stores are different - all of the stores I have been in call over the SV for just 1 coupon even when I have a larger spend
has anyone actually tried the chocablok chocolate? think we must be a cadbury household. Even the kids left it!!!

I don't like it DD loves it - hope your first week back has been good and not too stressful

Does anyone know how many coupons can go through ss checkout in tosco before it triggers supervisor

As above - SV gets called over everytime I use SS but other people say you can use 2 coupons

I think I'll spend £15 on the SS tomorrow and see if it will accept the £2.99 coupon or not without SA. Hopefully not!

The same thing happened in PZ this afternoon for one poor lady in front of me:(

I felt better when I came back in to see that half the store's customers were at cs with their recalled transactions! There was only 2 people on there though, and trolleys full of shopping waiting to be paid for and taken. Total chaos!! This was R3druth. It was worse when I went back to get my coupons sorted out!!
