Flash Power Mops are £5 in A's as part of the cleaning event clearance (well, my A at least)

I know a lot of you stocked up on the refills and sprays so if you want a spare mop this is a good opportunity

    Still £9 in my local

    Evening guys and gals :)

just caught up after work...and not stopping...I'm pooped and going to bed!

but i would like to say big thanks to the OP of the Andrex offer :D

but also, is it just me thats disappointed to see so many people on here abusing the moc in Ts? Some people are deliberately using it on the wrong product (whether its because they dont like the correct product, store doesnt stock it etc is irrelevant), and someones even admitted to using it without even buying the Kleenex!!!

Surely the glitch is good enough in its own right that its giving us a little bit of money off our shopping? People are complaining that they're being trouted when using mocs - is it any bl00dy wonder, when other people are misusing them?

just my opinion, but its a sure fire way to get mocs stopped permanently, and for T's to reduce the amount of till spits, or even remove them altogether.

Why cant we just be happy with the glitch, without taking it to the extreme level?

I'm off to bed, so wont be staying up to debate the issue, its just my opinion, and dont want to cause an arguement, but if people want to proactively advertise the fact that they misuse mocs, then I dont think they can really complain when they get trouted or refused mocs :(

Nope, it's not just you. I hate misuse of coupons, I will however be getting cheap loo roll and wipes for a couple of days.

I think it helps to remember though that we are not all the same, we all have different boundries and budgets, I am not in the business of judging anyone.

Not sure it's a good idea to publicise the fact here though.

Morning all. Another cold wet Manchester morn. Have been used to 83+ for the last couple of weeks so this is a bit of a shock to the system.

I have just done one and it accepted the first one bt not the second 2 without authorisation. Great SA she was so busy she didnt bother looking at them.

Just done the first night run after work 3 shiny wipey overpriced doodahs, 3 andrex. Inserted 3 coupons - got 6 back :D

Gonna have to rethink my strategy tomorrow cos my loo roll still cost me 50p a pack and I normally only spend £1.75 on a pack of 12 from Aldi, so although it's nice posh stuff I'm not saving myself anything that I wouldnt normally spend ifswim.
Think I'll have to do 3 shiny wipey expensive doodah thingamebobs and only 2 toilet roll.

Can anyone remember somone posted it was working on a £1 kleenex item, wonder if it produced a till spit as well?

I think it was Kadison that reported that one, and I think she did get a till spit, I could be wrong! (Doesn't happen very often though!! :p:D)

Yes you get a till spit for each one of these at 99p, though I bought 2 andrex 9 packs (different ones), 2 of these and 1 shine sheet and only got 4 till spits....weird!

I walked out in a huff a few weeks ago for something similar. I'd carefully worked out a shop with coupons, split my shopping so I could get a price promise on one lot but trouty mctrouty inspected every coupon (which I have no real issue with) but asked to see everything that corresponded. All the stuff I'd packed I had to unpack so I could show her I'd got the right flavour of this, or the right size of that.

There was an issue with 2 nappy coupons I had. One said economy/jumbo, the other said economy/carry pack. Given the economy/jumbo one scanned and the other one didn't, that ruled out the trouts explanation of me getting the wrong size as she knew herself jumbo was the box. She then tried saying what I had was a carry pack and that's why the coupon didn't scan which contradicted what she'd just said. Supervisor was called and although it turns out I was wrong (and I had said I could be wrong as I just thought all non-boxed nappies were economy sized) in one breath she's saying they can't refund coupons in cash as their systems had been changed then in the next breath for another coupon that woudn't scan, she said take it to CS and they'll refund you.

I lost the plot and told them just to give me back my coupons and I'd take my custom elsewhere. Unfortunately because some of the coupons were for CC points, as they'd been scanned that meant they were now void but the lovely folk on the CC helpdesk have refunded them to me. I don't cheat with coupons but there's one store that refuse to take any internet coupons and scrutinise every single coupon. I know to avoid that store now or wear a low cut top, leave the OH at home and head for the young male students ;)

It is getting pretty bad now. I mean most of the vouchers are T's own vouchers but they seem to think everyone is a con artist  this was the very first voucher shop my sis had ever did so they were 100% genuine. Will wait to see what HO has to say about it.

  • Hi,
I am new to the thread(find big ones scary, yes I know, daft!).
My large Tesco is half hour by bus, so I'd only want one trip, would this work? (A=Andrex, K=Kleenex)

    1. 1xA/Total £2.00/Minus £0.00/Pay £2.00/1 v'r back
    2. 1xA + 1xK/Total £3.49/Minus £2.99/Pay £0.50/2 v'rs back
    3. 2xA + 2xK/Total £6.98/Minus £5.98/Pay £1.00/4 v'rs back
    4. 4xA + 4xK/Total £13.96/Minus £11.96/Pay 2.00/8 v'rs back

*At this point, 8 Andrex + 7 Kleenex for £5.50, 8 vouchers in hand*

    5. 8xK + 12.00 shopping/Total £11.92+£12.00=£23.92)/Pay £0.00

    *At the end, 8 Andrex, 15 Kleenex, £12 shopping = £5.50*

Or am I confused? It doesn't take much, I am in awe of you guys! If I am, please do not laugh too hard :rotfl:
