:j :j After 2 months of waiting and emailing, I've finally got my money!! I had abandoned the next button until I got payment as I thought there was no point wasting my time if they didn't pay out. Now I'm a happy clicker again!

I've been with Pureprofile for, ooh, donkey's years, recently claimed my £25 Odeon voucher - had a nightmare getting it, they kept saying it was being returned to them by Royal Mail as undelivered. This happened about 4 times, apparently, although Ryal Mail didn't leave a card any of these 4 times, however I did eventually get it. But the site seems to have gone to sleep a bit - this happens sometimes with quite a few of them, surveys seem to dry up and then start again. My dad works for a market research company and this is the nature of the industry I think, there isn't a steady flow of contracts, and there is a lot of competition out there with so many companies.

My advice is sign up for as many sites as possible, don't de-register as they might kickstart again (this has happened recently with the MyVoice site, nothing was happening for a good couple of years). Another tip is when you fill out your profile, have at least 2 kids, and a partner, bump up your household income a bit, fill in as many interests as possible, claim to own lots of aplliances, vehicles, pets etc. Insurance is a big one - so make out you need contents, life, pet, travel etc.

Sites I'd recommend at the moment - Media Transfer : £16 Amazon voucher for 100MT's - have received this once and am 7 MTs away from another; Ciao - occasional surveys, but you get more cash from writing product reviews and rating those of others - but this is quite time consuming (and rather addictive once you get into it); Valued Opinions and You Gov. Don't expect big bucks, just a steady trickle of money/vouchers for a little bit of effort. And don't bother if they don't offer rewards - I gave up on ones offering competition entries as they took too much time for no return.

Found the survey but answered 8 questions only to be told quota filled. Still got 20p though which is 4days worth of click throughs lol so can't complain lol!

Here's a tip I just discovered:

Go to preferences
Set your email invitation to 10p
They will email you when there's a survey in your account. If you click through from the email before the survey period ends even if it's full they'll credit you for the screen out amount!

Has anyone else had problems with Pureprofile's referral system? I'm generally quite happy with the website other than this - I've recently reached £25 payout and my partner's account is up to £13 and only been open about four months.

The problem is: I referred my partner - every time he gets £5, I get £1, up until his first payout. When he reached £5, I didn't get the £1 straight away so I sent an email asking when it would happen and was told it would be at the end of the month (this was early in April). Mid-May and there's still no sign of my £1, so I email again and this time I'm told there's no record of my account making any referrals! So why did they have a record a few weeks earlier when I was asking when my account would be credited? And as he's now gone past £10 in his account that's £2 they owe me now.

I sent a reply asking if the details could have possibly been accidentally wiped during some of the recent changes to the site and funnily enough they haven't replied to that one... more like they were 'accidentally on purpose' deleted so they didn't have to pay me more than they needed to! That's what it feels like anyway - bit odd as I've had no other problems with them. Has anyone else had this? Is there any point me pursuing it or shall I just accept defeat? I don't know how to prove that I referred him, but I know I did because I sat here and watched with my own eyes while he signed up using the link I sent him through the site!

Am starting to think Pure Profile is a scam.

Have been waiting two months for a redemption payment, keep emailing them and they kep promising to make the payment, then they ask for my bank details again, then say it will be paid within 24hrs, then say it may take onger, then bank details again, then more delays.

I'm emailing them weekly and they appear to be useless. Can folks confirm they've had money and if so, how long have they had to wait and those that have waited, did you have to fight for it?.
