    Hi everyone and good morning,

we had a lovely night but I was then woken up at 3:30 to be told I had a new little cousin! :j :j :j She's a few weeks early but very healthy and LOUD! Think today might be a slow one after all the excitement but will try to complete as much as I can as the house is looking soooo much better now

    Morning All

    Congratulations Amy!

Last night was a write off - left work, picked kids up from school at 4 then DS had to be at football at 5 until 6, back home then open evening at high school for DD 7 till 9 then home and bed!

Tonight I've got Beavers so nothing will be done before about 8ish.

I've had a bath this morning so now I need to get dressed and sorted for work and the kids sorted for school.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs

Miss Muddy Paws came running in when DH left for work and decided it was time to wake the house. She has been looking for Christmas presents under my bed and tried to shread a box. I have let her out again.

I have no tea bags !!!!!!
How did that happen. Time to sort my food stores I think.

    Back later x

    No tea?
Call the emergency services! If you need back up I have about four boxes, shall I set off now? :D

So bedroom today. My bedding has been changed a few days ago, so I have just made the bed. The floor is clear and kiddies gibble has been deposited back to their own rooms. Will dust and Hoover all upstairs later.

Kids driving me nuts already. DS said he is sulking, but doesn't know why, and is just annoying everyone. Keeps sitting in the doorway so neither me nor DD can get past. I've told him one more naughty and I put the train set away. He's just followed her into the garage (she has her trampoline and dolly cot etc in there) and I've had to remind him to be nice.
She is just touching everything, I've had to remind her to leave the coffee table alone, she is trying to put toys under the leg, even though there is hot tea on it

Trying to keep them in separate rooms. To me ;)

Still, have a friend coming over for coffee this morning, her boy is same age as DS, so a bit of company for him.

pigpen well done to dot on standing, oh dear shell be charging round into everything now. i remember my eldest standing then learning to rush round she had the ability but not the brains or the brakes, so she only stopped when her head made contact with the underside of the table or she ran into a wall. i thought id have to put hjer in one of DH martial arts head protectors.
i thought id run out of tea last week but remembered id got some pg hint of earl grey cheap to put in christmas hampers, so raided a box of that YUK it tastes funny, i love my mum too much to do that to her so really naughty of me but it will be donated to the charity hampers that the schools collect for. not the box i opened the others id got stored up.

I agree with bossy - no tea is an emergency!

Had 3 hectic days so far this week - met DD2 in town yesterday for a bit of a shop before she went to work - guess who carried all the shopping home? ( Yes - you're right - it was me!)

Managed a catch up at the pub with 2 of the girls from work on Tuesday - I rarely see them at work( budget cuts mean we are looking after more kids but with fewer staff!) and we had been trying to get out for lunch since July! It was very good to discover that although we do the same job and our paths rarely cross that we do agree on a LOT of things!

Today is a home day, apart from work at lunchtime. I am waiting for a GP/nurse to ring me about DD1 - we noticed some oozing from her stitch site last night.....

I have managed a half decent nights sleep at last - I caved and bought some earplugs to block out OH's snoring. so why do I feel worse having had some sleep?

Today - more ironing, hoover lounge and hall and put away more gibble....

    Thanks Bossymoo xx

I'm going to crawl to the shop to buy some (think Laurel & Hardy off to the oasis in the dessert). I usually have spare boxes but I like the one cup ones and haven't been able to find any for a while.

School bus gets earlier each day. Grrr & :)

Towels are in WM, LR tidied

    :rotfl:Sounds like a plan!

Amy congrats on the baby cousin. But really? Couldn't they have waited until a decent hour? I would have had kittens if my phone rang at that time!!

I am not sure how my day will be today. I came downstairs this morning to find the cat had done a whoopsie at the bottom of the stairs. Of course, no-one else had noticed it! I dropped the pot of red, white & blue sugar balls (that go on top of cupcakes) as I got sultanas out of the cupboard for my porridge :( Then, as I was clearing up the sugars balls (the dog had quite a few - so he will be hyper!), my porridge boiled over in the microwave  So, I had cleaned the microwave (again!), and swept the floor (& work surface!)

I had a phone call yesterday from the school re DD2. they are worried about her as well :( I have made an appointment for 4.50 this evening at the GP. Trouble is, I don't finish until 5.15, so she may have to go alone. I will see if I can finish earlier.

1 load in WM ready to hang out. TD still not fixed :( He was putting a new belt on, to see if that sorted it, but was going to test it fater. I still don't know how much it will be! I have made it quite clear that I won't be getting it fixed if it is too expensive!!
I am going to hang out the washing while waiting for Bubba to arrive. Then it is off to toddler group :D
