Baby passport, my passport still in maiden name

I am applying for my baby first passport. My passport in still in my maiden name even though I am married. He has the family - fathers surname. I am really confused how to complete the application. Should I compete it as the mother with different surname on passport or does this not matter. Rang the helpline number and it…

I did another set of photos at Asda for 68p. Sent the application of 10 days ago and got the passport and important documents all back this morning. Thanks guys for your advice. Didn't need post office checking service.
I know they are less strict with children's passport but no problems with mine.
