September 2016 GC £21.37/£1200 -
Found $11 today from a trip to NYC a couple of years ago, changed it up for £6.01 whoop! Plus £3 from odd bits of change in various draws in my house (no idea why?!) brings me £1 away from £10 target hooray!
Now where am I going to find £1 in the next 6 hours....CC1 = [STRIKE]£10,323[/STRIKE] £8,200
CC2 = [STRIKE]£8,437[/STRIKE] £0
Loan = [STRIKE]£3200[/STRIKE] £0
Total = [STRIKE]£21,960[/STRIKE] £8,200
£10/day challenge: £100 -
Do a search for TOWN NAME buy sell and see what comes up. Or maybe ask on your status if anyone knows if there is one near you.
Here there are a couple with about 5500 people, but several others, some with a few hundred, others reaching into the 1000. There are lots of ones specifically for baby and kids stuff, some just for clothes. I usually just use 1 or 2, and often post on more than 1 group. (I've gradually discovered more because I see people linking to other groups in another) A lot of them though I don't really bother with if there are just a few people.
People can either message you or comment on the photos. usually people comment first, then you PM each other to arrange a time and date to collect.
Find a local group (I think they have cropped up enough now that there will probably be one) and have a look at what other people are buying and selling etc, see how it works.
If people send you messages, be aware there is a separate folder which sometimes messages go to from non friends, when you click on See All, you will see a folder called 'Others' on the left hand side.
Another £8 to add from more baby clothes on Facebook.
And a bit from Ebay, but will work that out later as got to dish up dinnerHalf of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
£12.89 Ebay profits after all fees
All baby clothes again, so I've sold about £65 worth since the weekend.
And went to the bootfair on Sunday and got loads for dead cheap, so I've not even had to spend much of the money from the smaller ones to buy the bigger ones.

And another £14 this evening on a puzzle ball I bought for £15 about a year ago and never managed to solve... In the interest of honesty (and because that's what I ended up using it for) I sold it as an ornament as I never managed to work it out LOL
Hohum - that's £14 in my October fund! Later I'm going to dig out some of my daughters old Halloween costumes from the last couple of years and see if I can't sell those tooShe had a MEGA cute bat one when she was a baby LOL

FB buying and selling - I actually help run one of these pages and the one thing I'd say is READ THE RULES
each board has it's one slightly different set of rules like some allow bumping, others don't, some are happy to have you haggle, some only allow it if the item is listed as "or near offer" (ono) and so on
I've sold loads over the last year on the local pages and bought some too - especially my daughters clothesAnd a job lot of my little ponys LOL Paid I think it was £20 for about 40 of them - gave them all a damn good wash and you'd never know they were 2nd hand
