  • Morning everyone :-) Been watching and learning from you all for a while now and have been messing around with 2nd purse system but would like to join you all from today if I may. So going to start with putting £20.00 into my purse and going to make an inventory of my supplies that Ive got already, lucky to have shed to put everything into although I'l have to clear the snow to get in there :-)

  • Hello everyone, I have been absent for about the last 8 months as certain family members (well all of them to be honest) kept 'stealing' from my shop and it was defeating the exercise, but am soon to be re-opening MunniMart again and will be back on board, so just saying hello:wave: to you all and will catch up very soon :D

Ah, we don't shop there anymore!

Hi Kerri - we are on the same wavelength, as didn't know you had been away from here also and have just returned (read your post after I posted on here) and we no longer shop there either - great minds, an' all that :p

Just bought 10 tins of beans in L1dl....to go with the 48 loo rolls I bought in there the week before ;) I don't care that they were 2p more than Mr T I hate Mr T and refuse to shop in there anymore! Now I just have to find a place to hide them. They weren't bought on the 2nd purse though, just the grocery budget. I really need to find a way to get back into this properly I think :) Intentions are right at least

  • Well.... Actually managed to make my way thru the snow to get to the shed!! Pleasantly surprised that value of supplies to date is £295.90. Spent £15.00 of the £20.00 I started with yesterday and spent £34.00 of my grocery budget in "my shop" today (glad I don't have to pay the supermarket the prices that I charged myself, I'm soo expensive lol) So currently have £39.00 in 2nd purse to look for more bargains. Think this is going to be addictive lol. Hope everyones keeping safe and warm :)

    Hi everyone,

Welcome coffeequeen8054! Do you want to 'name' your shop and let me know what your dream item will be?

Welcome back MunniMuncha - good to see you :D Who will you get to 'cut the ribbon' when you relaunch your shop :rotfl:

    High Everyone,

I've read the first couple of posts on this thread and would like to try to join in. Please forgive my ignorance here - it's late, I'm tired and I'm on strong pain medication - before I start o I have to go thru all my supplies and stock-take? Or, do I simply start on 1st February, with an empty purse, my chosen amount and everything that's already in the cupboards and shed?

    Thanks!
