Can iPhone 5 be unlocked b4 3 months on orange

I have a big problem I have a iPhone 5 from orange on contract which I need to use on my o2 contract so need unlocking so I can use it on my O2 contract but been told by orange cant unlock for 3 months which is no good I need it unlocking now is there anywhere that would unlock it ???? Thanx

    Sorry for asking the obvious, why didn't you just get the iPhone 5 on O2 and not Orange?
  • Lol me & the wife both on O2 didnt want to stay on O2 as crap reception where we live ! Keeps dropping calls so orange it is as long as I can get it unlocked now

    so I'm getting the 5 to use. on my O2 contract !!!

    Good question, but a better question is why didn't you just buy a SIM-free iPhone from Apple? Despite the higher initial cost, it's much cheaper overall.

    Wait a bit until you save £600 and buy it unlocked from Apple?
    You don't have even £600 saved, but are wasting money on a 'loan' for buying a locked toy and on unlocking it.
    I wouldn't say this if it wasn't a Money Saving forum.
