Not true. I have been getting 10 month policies for the past 4 years (been driving for 7 though) I always get a new normal proof of NCB from Diamond, and nowhere on it does it state that I got it from a 10 month policy so other insurers will accept this.
All it means is that i have to renew 2 months earlier every year.
I always get Diamond to price match my cheapest quote so I have never had to move away from them.
What he means, is that the majority of Insurers will not necessarily accept you as a new client after a ten month policy as having a years no claims bonus.
In a lot of cases people would be better taking out a twelve months policy and have the entire market accept them as having a years no claims bonus.0 -
both grandparents are named drivers and my son is the registered keeper and main policy holder, he has mods declared, if he didn't have mods it would have been £800.0
