So another new year has started hopefully 2015 will see a lot of us become debt free. It won't be the year for me that won't happen until the back end of 2017!
At the end of the year I am just above the £21k mark, my target for this time next year is to be at £16k. At the same time I will have built up £11k in my sharesave so effectively I won't be that far away from being debt free even though I won't be able to access the shares until Oct '17.
My car is being serviced today so it will mean that my debt repayment will be lower this month, hopefully not that much lower!
Edit: The damage wasn't too bad, £165 but that wasn't the main service.LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.

My monthly update - I am close to getting below 20k as you can see in my sig, and barring a disaster this month will be below it on payday.
For the first time in over seven years I have had the opportunity to do some over time at work so worked last weekend and went in today and will be tomorrow as well so that will also help. I'm not sure if it will be paid in this months salary or in March's.
I also have two weeks of at the end of the month which will save me a fair bit in petrol money as I do around 500 miles a week for work.LBM: Dec 2012 - Debt £38,180/ Now £0.
