ATOS Form - Worried

I sent back my ATOS form all signed and dated on the 20th September.

I sent it back in the prepaid envelope they supplied.

I got a letter from them dated the 23rd September saying they are still waiting for the form!!

Is there anything I should worry about; I don't want to ring them as its an 0845 number and would cost me a fortune!!

Did you send it recorded? I always do, then you can easily check it got there.

That said, those dates mean they won't have received it and filed it by the time the letter was sent out so even had it arrived it would have crossed in the post.

Tip. ALWAYS send letters to the DWP recorded.

Thanks Muttley for that I will do that now, it will save ringing them!!

Plus I didn't think to send it recorded delivery, but the form was due back by the 2nd October, so I sent it back in plenty of time of the date!!

in this situation, i would do as muttley has said an e-mail atos to check its there, but i would also ask ESA to send you out another as it seems Atos or the postal service has lost it and to grant an extension period for atos to find it or so you can fill in another form and send it back.

Just sent them an email asking if they have received the form.

I've got a copy of the form so that if it has been lost, I can use it to refill it in again.

If this is the case that the form has been lost, the next form I send I will defo do it recorded delivery.

When was the form due back?

ATOS send a reminder letter, usually one week before the actual return date.

This being the case it would have nothing to do with the form you have returned.

The form was required to be due back on the 2nd October, and I got the reminder letter yesterday which was dated the 23rd September.

I've sent ATOS an email asking if they got my form back, and am waiting for a reply.

Just received a reply back from ATOS who said that they received my form on the 24th September!!

Lets see how long I have to wait for a poxy medical!!

its an assessment for your capability for employment, not a medical, poxy or otherwise.
