So.… Looks like it's been four years next week 😳

Dad passed away in early December 2023, whilst his esophageal carcinoma based issues were returning he ultimately succumbed to Sepsis from another source. I was with him along with my step mum for his final 24hrs.

I struggled with work massively in the start of 2024 and after a month signed off, handed in my notice in the March. I'd finally had my perimenopause confirmed in 2023 when I was almost 42 and HRT had helped remove a lot of my issues (noted in the previous post, morning stiffness, brain fog etc) but September 2024 finally explained plenty more, my busy thinking, not lasting more than two years in jobs, the debt etc.... Diagnosis of Level 1 Autism and ADHD.

I see various traits of it in my kids, husband admits he is likely the same, his eldest son is also AuDHD.

After a six month role in the second half of 2025 I'm currently not working whilst hubby is now a 999 call handler and dispatcher for the local police force.

I volunteer at my local hospice clearance store once a week and sell our old clothes (kids outgrown, mine and hubby's too small items after a year on the MJ jabs) as well a hand picked items from the CS's locally.

Kids are now eight and almost ten, I took them on their first flights last year with my own salary earnings, just a weekend in Majorca when they had an inset day on the Friday but so so worth it 👌
