Aww, thanks, everyone who has wished me better. Hilstep I hope your flare-up subsides soon - what a pair we are!:o
Monnagran if I was brave enough, I'd post a piccy so you could see what I look like, but I don't want to scare newbies to the thread.:rotfl: Suffice it to say look for a wheelchair containing a fifty-something female with waist-length dark red hair and a dodgy dress sense.:rotfl:Probably with something canine on the end of a lead.:rotfl:

    Evening all,

Congratulations to the job getters ( sure that's not correct English, but you know what I mean)!

Hugs and sympathy to those not well, particularly LW and Hilstep.

Nothing going right here to-day....too complicated to go into but we will be considerably poorer by next month.

DGS' school had their annual picnic to-day....never found out why it is at this time of year, must ask again, and the sun shone while we sat on blankets and had our picnic, the children then entertained us with music...and then it rained again, just as we got back to cars.

OH has been watching golf all day, so I have avoided the tv....he has now gone to bed so I will see if there is something on that I would like to watch and do a bit of knitting...blanket number 6.

Have a good evening, stay warm and sleep well

    evening.

i pop in so late i often wonder if its worth posting.
busy busy day at school. fed 87. thats the most i have ever done.it was very busy, by the time my assistant came in i was almost on my knees. shes a superstar and has done the job for 14 years. my daily ave has been 80 this week so ive got more hours next week. left work at 215, went to tesco sorted little one out, made tea and then had a bath and relaxed. the washing basket is overflowing but im not working at my other job this weekend so that can wait.
my arm has been really bad today and aches so much ive just has some extra painkillers and will be going to bed in a mo.
o-s wise ..been thinking of getting my boots glued instead of buying new ones for this winter as the boots are still quite good. got a quote in tesco and he said no more than about 7 pounds. what to do... they cost me 15 and replacement ones are 15..... what to do!!
my cat is still awol. i know where he is but he wont come to me. he still looks ok, glossy coat etc so will leave him for the time being. have looked into getting a trap from cat protection. what puts me off is i know he will get out again. i just want someone from the old house to take him on as that is where he wants to be.he pushed the locked cat flap out into the garden one day when i was at work, then one day he pushed a window open that was slightly ajar. its so hard to keep him in. he hears your car on the drive and hes at the door ready to run. i know that he is getting food from somewhere as he still looks so good, why is life not simple.
had sausages and cheesy potatoes for tea. then crispy cakes.... they were supposed to be a snack for the kids but we all polished them off.
    will check in tomorrow
  • always worth posting wuvvies - take it easy with the arm x

I didn't go out in the end. I had a banging headache so tried to sleep it off with a nap, but didn't work so I cancelled my plans :(. I ordered a takeaway and just chilled on sofa instead. Bit gutted but feeling more human now.

    Night all

Oh, right LW thanks very much. Nothing out of the ordinary then, just your average passerby. Wouldn't be noticed in a crowd. That sort of thing.

    Yeah. Right.
