Afternoon All
Bitsy...Congrats to DH :T I am so pleased that he has found a new job in a relatively short space of time.
LW (((((gentle hugs)))))
Had to go to Ikea this morning because we have had enough of DD's room looking like a tip, so we went and got some bookcases, a desk, and a chest of drawers, then DH is building a built in wardrobe for her with a couple of shelves at the top and a couple on the bottom to start her into the unknown world of "tidy up"
We are planning on doing the same in DS's room next month;)
DS has brought a friend home from college and they have taken over the front room, so I am sitting quietly in the hall.
No idea what to do for dinner, I have no appetite at the moment, so it will be freezer roulette.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

LW gentle wolfie hugs for you darling xxx
Tiglath I don't find Costco particularly cheap but I find the quality of their meat far superior to the supermarket. More like butcher quality but not butcher prices.
Flutterby glad you had a good trip, glad that young man is OK xxI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Hi,
Procrastinating again!
This Magazine has to be finished tonight and I still have 4 pages to write.
Spent this morning in Angel's Attic sorting out clothes, sleeping bags etc. In the middle of it all my homeless friend came in, having walked about 9 miles, just to thank us for all we did for him while he was sleeping rough. He is over the moon at being in the hostel and said that it is the best feeling in the world to be tucked up in bed listening to the rain slamming against the window and knowing that you are warm and dry. I tried to give him the bus fare home and he fought against accepting it. He tried to leave it behind but I managed to slip it into his pocket. Hope he found it before he'd walked back again!I believe that friends are quiet angels

Be sure your sins will find you out! I was well into my last post when the Rev arrived with her Vicar's bit for the magazine. Hastily posted and switched channels.
Where was I?
Oh, yes. OS.
Well I've no time to faff about with food today so it was a sandwich for lunch and will be a DIY from the fridge for tea tonight - probably bacon and eggs.
All my housework has been done in the church today so thankfully the house was already moderately sorted.
LW: Hope things soon look brighter for you. I hate it when you are under the weather. I know I would walk right past you if I met you but I feel we get to know each other here much better than people do in RL. That sounds a bit complicated reading it back. Hope you know what I mean.
Ok. I must now go and waste a bit of time elsewhere until finishing the blessed mag is inevitable.

Great news hilstep, that is two with new jobs :j now there must be a third :T.
monnagran .... you are naughty
but this site is very addictive. I am so glad that your homeless friend has a roof over his head before winter sets in, if only all of the others were so fortunate.
