  • Looking at the new paper link, I’m in panic mode now. I’m starting to think that no matter how much prep you can do - Some way I’m sure I’m going to get caught out. If their right then the only panic for the time being would be food. I have plenty of everything else in now.

Being my birthday yesterday I was given new slippers therefore that’s something that can come off the list of clothing needed. I’m hoping to go out Saturday and hit the £stores for bits & bobs that’s needed. Mainly painkillers, cold & flu bits ect.

I have fallen short of doing prep recently, But for anyone looking for airier check in your local ald! Store. I recently brought one of those airier for £6 on their clearance section. Its been a life saver because you can also fit these in the smallest of baths for over night drying.
    Future goals:
    Become debt free.
    Beat Depression.
    Be happy & healthy

I've always said I would put a curtain up above our front door (metal) so it doesn't lose as much heat. But SS is not the sharpest at times and would forget to pull it back etc before going in or out. So I'm thinking it might end up in tatters. But what about making a roman style blind (out of thicker material) and using magnets to stick it to the door. This should stop a lot of the heat being lost wouldn't it?

OH has stopped smoking so this means he's not constantly at the back door letting all the heat out, now I just need to train him to close the kitchen door (as its not heated) so the rest of the house is warm!
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J
  • You can get curtain rails that move with the door. I can't think at the moment what they are called. But they are attached to the wall at one end. When you open the door, the curtain moves with it, so the curtain won't get damaged.

Sorry - name of it escapes me...:(

Confuzzled I have only just got my Lakeland airer. I have used it twice, clothes do dry better laid flat but as we are a large family there is not much space to do that. I had it on in my dining room overnight and it was warmer in the morning, but it wasn't a very cold night. I didn't put a sheet over it as we have laminate floors and I didn't want to risk any condensation.

So far I am very happy with my purchase.
