i'm pretty sure i only applied for the free dart after getting the winning email

ahhhhhh i got one single dart in the post addressed to my son, dont remember emailing, and def didnt get any winners email or anything. hes happy with it though, so its all that matters to me heehee

I have just had an email back and the dart was my prize! Can't believe they r so cheeky when the dart is free from their website anyway! So one dart but no gun...thanks scatterbrainz!

Glad others have had the same as I emailed them asking the same thing, when they emailed saying I had won the competition I even emailed them to clarify it was the actual competition that I had entered

This is what they replied to my latest email

"Thank you for your e-mail.

The prize of a dart, which you have recently received, is a free dart to start your collection. The main prize of the Scatterbrainz bundle has not been picked yet and you are still in the running for this.

We are sorry if our original e-mail did not make this clear and apologise for any confusion this has caused.

Kind regards"

Personally I think its very misleading especially as it specifically said I was a winner in the competition on the 1st email

i have just received the same email

quite disgusted really.

They have obviously dropped a clanger - but informing people they are 'winners' when in fact they arent isnt good and isnt clever.

I know one product i will never purchase now.....

in fact i am tempted to leave some feedback on their facebook page

I think its more of a promotion scam to get peoples details

I have emailed them in a very polite but firm manner informing them that the dart was actually advertised as a promotion and not a competition. Therefore when they informed us that we had won a competition then they were being very misleading. I have suggested they read the rules on ipm. I am yet to get a reply! Lol

Received same email saying Im still in the running, remember this is evolution ltd though guys and not Scatterbrainz, that comp ended 30th Sept, you're telling me they are yet to pick a winner? think perhaps emails were sent out by mistake but they should now honor that mistake and send out the prize bundle to whoever that sent that winner email to!

I just thanked them for their reply...

oh and informed them that it was now my job to tell my son he hadnt in fact won anything.

Im also pretty sure that it said a winner would be chosen within a week of the closing date

Their own rules

All entries must be received before the closing date of Thursday 30th September 2012. Entries after that date will not be allowed. Entries are allowed by all persons resident in the UK and Ireland but if aged under 16 parental permission must be gained. The winner will be drawn at random after the closing date and the winner notified within 1 week. No purchase is necessary. The prizes are as stated (win all this) and no alternative prizes will be offered and no further correspondence will be entered into. For any enquiries call 01327 701702
