My Bank closed my Business account, claiming I was rude!!!!!!

At the start of the year I had a company change of name and notified my bank. I requested my stationary and debit cards be forwarded to my overseas address. After numerous phone calls and two letter they assured me that my card was being sent. 2 months later still no debit card. I called my bank every single day for 2 months and spoke to different relationship managers to realise that they needed more information.
Needless to say I became a little irate and was then told that my BUSINESS ACCOUNT was being closed and I had 2 months to make arrangements to withdraw the money.
Being about 16 hours flight time away, I asked what are my options and was told that its not there problem. I am in no situation to fly back to the UK and open another business account.
Could someone please advise if this is even legal if a bank can close my account as they feel fit and what my alternatives are?
I however have complained to LLoyds TSB, but obviously fall on deaf ears.

Can you refuse to do business with one of your clients? Well so can one of your suppliers.0

Yes, of course they can, They've been helpful, normally you'd only get 30 days notice.0

Yes they can close your account. They've given you 2 months notice which i think is fair.0

Thanks for that guys, So I should really not vent my disappointment with the shocking service in future. Any good business banks?0

As the relationship had broken down it is best both parties go there own way. However I did not realise bankers were such delicate little flowers.0 -
People are not there to be abused at their place of workDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
