i decided to make use of the free listings weekend to get all my junk on eb@y.... all 50 things listed even if it did take me just over 8 hours :eek: They better sell after all that effort!!

Best of luck with the ebay stuff BDINI. I've got a few bits on, mainly stuff that I've relisted before and some 'junk' I was going to bin. So far got bids on two items I've listed several times with no joy, and sseveral bids on one item I was going to bin  Just goes to show, perseverance pays off, and one mans junk is another man's treasure is deff true :)

  • Hi All,

Haven't posted for a while, but now up to 21 NSD and 21 in a row.:j:j

Will come to a shuddering halt today as laptop is broken and needs replacing:mad::mad::mad:

Was doing so well and even managed to put a deposit on a Crimbo meat "hamper" from local supplier out of monthly food budget.

I could do tomorrow, but not Tuesday.

Marmite - you are an absolute :A. Thank you for the update. I shall do tonight's one unless anyone else wants to have a go.

This thread would be nothing (literally) without all the lovely updaters taking some time to keep it running. You don't get the credit you deserve. You are all brilliant. :A

Morning all! I hope all our poor sickly people are starting to feel a bit better today. Isn't it horribly gloomy out? I got up at 7 this morning, and it was the first day I've noticed it still being "proper" dark outside at that time.
Anyway, today won't be a NSD for me, but I'm being very good and condensing a few little tasks into one day. Whereas previous I might have spread them out over a few days (and then of course, "accidentally" spent extra on other stuff!)
Off to see 'Taken 2' with a friend around lunch time.
Brief Tesco stop for bread, sarnie filler of some sort & milk and hopefully to get some passport pics taken! I THINK my Tesco has a booth...
Boots for their own brand of ibuprofen.
Post Office to post a small item to a friend in the States.

That should keep me busy this afternoon at least!

Sweet 16 entered the ring yesterday but was quickly locked in the dressing room after the bout (along with the others who had come to cheer her on & had bet everything on me losing :D ) as the day was spent with The Offspring & trying to clear some of the tv recordings that have accumilated while I'm playing the Lady's Companion to mutha.

I've had a quick peek at Samhain--a bit like a South American 'Day of the Dead' I thought, although I don't know much about that either
:o --so perhaps I'll go for a Bank$y take on a sugar skull, with bin liner kecks & a safety pin string vest...presuming it's an inside event?

Of course I'm not 100% certain, but it does seem a little more than a coincidence that 'slime' is featuring so heavily in Igor's theme for the shindig next week...someone really should explain the finer points of foraging to that chap....

NSD 6 acheived for me yesterday! Quite poor when I was hoping I'd have 3 to report, but an NSD is an NSD and I have 4 more to get in 8 days.

I'm over the NSD hump of half way now. Although some of you are really putting my NSD's to shame!

Next month I may need to work out a grocery budget as it's generally food shopping that's holding me back! Hmmmm! :D

Happy New Week everyone. I hope the poorly people are bounding to a full recovery. If not, wrap up warm and take care of yourself.
  • Had a great but rather spendy weekend - which was to be expected thankfully! :o

Hoping today for a NSD so will be back later to update!! :D

Good luck everyone else and well done on racking up those NSDs  :T
