Do you mind if I re-join?
Sorry guys, I disappeared off the face of the earth for a while because of study commitments but it is all over (at least until Jan!) so I can now re-focus on normal life
Not been keeping count of my NSD's this month so will just cheer everyone on and lurk this month
I also haven't read through any thread since July so hope everyone is well?
freeby - if you need help with updates I am available to do some again (no, really, I won't disappear again!) x
Great to see you back LMH.Hope the studying is going well.Just back in time to enjoy some of Igor's cooking as well, lucky you!ifwisheswerehorses... wrote: »Morning all :hello:

I've been counting the no spend days on my own for sept and oct.
Oct = 7/12 and 4 in a row for this week due to feeling poorly and sat on the sofa all weekVictoria2322 wrote: »Hello, Can I join Please? I am going to Say 6 NSD's until the end of the month!
Thank you! Today is my first attempt!
Hi and welcome :hello:HeadAboveWater wrote: »Decided that as well as keeping a track on the number of NSDs in October, I'm gonna mark down which days are NSDs.
My NSDs are when I spend absolutely nothing. No dd/so. No milk. No bread. No fuel. No 'essentials'. Nothing. Nadda.
My weekly budget is obviously there for a purpose (we do need to eat after all!!) but I still count it as spending.
I know myself there are certain days that things happen, eg. OH generally picks me up from work on a Friday and we go to Tesco's. Saturday and Sundays are usually spend days too coz we go out to a cafe (or 2!!)
So far this month I've had 2 Mondays (was almost 3!!), one Tuesday, one Wednesday and (unusually!) one Saturday.
So in theory, I should be able to plan better for November.
Does that make sense or am I talking a load of warble?!?!?!?!?!? :rotfl:
If it works for you, that's fine!
bdini huge hugs to you-Hope it all goes in your favour on Monday.
rising hope your appt has been useful and that you're soon on the mend.0 -
Good evening, all! Reporting in with a total of 8 NSDs to date.
Little Miss Happy - welcome back to Ennessdee Towers, your usual mug is still in the kitchen cupboard, and nobody has been sitting in your chair. Well, apart from Hubert, that is, and I'm sure a bit of bicarb will soon shift the stain.....
Kerri - if you saw Hubert on the roof in the pouring rain then that explains the massive green slime trail around the house dotted with clumps of Kleenex....I think a dose of Igor's Killer Kold Kure is required.....
Bdini - think "yippee!" First day of battle is Monday - things (and persons) are going to get sorted, you have the knowledge that you are in the right, the union is on your side and lots of extremely powerful vibes will be heading to that room on Monday from your NSD gang comrades. Bring it on!
Well done to everyone for the ever expanding collection of NSDs!One life - your life - live it!0 -

i read that as Kill Or Kold cure...though given the fact Igor is also mentioned, that might be accuract :rotfl:
Big hugs Beanie x
Not a NSD yesterday BUT did pick up box of cat food, dishwasher tabs and Lenor all for £5 in Tacto (yes I've been at it with the coupons again!). Got my siamese-caterpillars reshaped into eyebrows and picked up 2 bags of sweets in the 99p store so we don't get caught out at Halloween (I value my car how it is ) Not too bad though as I did take something back to Wilko for £4
However, NSD #7 today :j:j did get sent to get some beers by OH but extracted his cash card and added a £2.14 carrier charge in the form of some 1/2 price beers for me (Carling Zest - spiced winter orange edn - will either be lovely, or taste like Igors socks!))
I did order some capris for boot camp (the ones that JL sent in the wrong size - though I'm sceptical that they won't send the ones I returned back to me, however, i'm in desparate need of new bottoms so not counting these and you can't make me)
Having a lovely lazy evening after a busy week and a soggy boot camp today. :AFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Felix Sensations are £3 in Tacto atm, as are Whiskas Bite n Chew.
My kit like to lick the jelly off of others with chunks so these are quite good. I think the Whiska's Simply Steamed range might also be £3 in Tacto.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Hello all...
Missed check in Thursday as I couldn't get on the forums, but it wasn't a nsd anyway as I'd had lunch on the run.
Yesterday though was nsd 4. So I'm still doing ok (not out of choice I add - nothing in the bank or my purse till payday.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

This is what I do. I have a weekly budget and if I stay within that its a NSDif I don't its not.
Last month I racked up a full month of NSDs by staying in budget.:T It helps me manage my money much better and keeps me aware of how much I'm spending. Its also made a big difference to my bank account at the end of the month. :T
It really works for me. Give it a try and see how you go.Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150
