Tojo_Ralph wrote:I'll agree with the buying, that's very limited these days, in fact, I don't recall the last EBay purchase I made...... Selling is however still a must.

But to sell you need buyers
... if everyone decides to stop buying then there will be no point selling
I actually stopped selling long before I stopped buying as it's not worth all the hassle for the small amount of profit to be made. I guess if you have a lucrative business going then that's different, but for me it was just a hobby and I was barely breaking even on some things and it was only by selling off personal "junk" as well that I remained in profit!"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Ive always been pretty scared of ebay and stick to things like rare singles from bands that I collect - people dont scam with these kind of things
I am way to scared to sell stuff as I read about buyers just claiming things are damaged to avoid paying, and people bidding with no intention of buying. You can end up losing money from what I read. Ebay just dont seem to care as long as they make money.
Never forget the world is full of a***holes (unlike the MSE forums!)0 -
I'm considering selling my Dell Inspiron 1100 on Ebay. Due to paypal issues (don't like the idea of someone getting my lappy then doing a charge back under false pretenses), I'd only accept BT now. Hardly makes it easy selling on Ebay.In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?
It's time to make that change.

By BT you mean bank transfer - BE WARNED that these can be reversed. THis is a common scam - they can easily be reversed on the day they are paid in. So you check the money is there, send off the goods and then get screwed over. This was happening with cars - so people lost some big money!0

A crummy PC, offered by "Fayz76"
Which was recently sold to "Chintito"
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3746&item=5189290692
Another bidder - "Faislema" also bought the SAME PC from "Fayz76" on 23/5..
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3746&item=5186016893.
What concerns me is the seller is acquiring positive feedback and then offering these higher priced laptops with loads of bids from newbies (possible shills?)

From a field of millions, the bookies have somehow narrowed it down to four likely winners, all US bred, US trained and US stabled, but all are yet to even enter the running!!!
raxwulf : 1/4
teresa4671 : 3/1
tom_curnew : 7/2
rehaired sandy : 6/1
BAR 200/1
A racing insider was quoted as saying..."Put your house on raxwulf"... But at such short odds, from a field of millions, is that wise?
Okay Tojo, enough already. Which comedy club are you playing at next? Oh, and btw, my title was only a joke. I, too, am impressed.
BaffExclamation and question marks - ONE exclamation mark or question mark is sufficient to exclaim or ask about something. More than one just makes you look/sound like a prat.
Should OF, would OF. Dear oh dear. You really should have, or should've listened at school when that nice English teacher was explaining how words get abbreviated.0
