It seems to be the MSE forum software that replaces perfectly proper french accents with exclamation marks. As they do with apparently rude words, such as m-a-f-i-a (can't write it without the dashes since the whole word would get replaced with !!!!!)
Nonetheless, piemaeu, thanks for inadvertently providing us with a hearty giggle!0 -
I've just been charged £5768 for going overdrawn on my platinum Amex, and I'm only 11 months old! How do I go about rectifying this matter to my satisfaction?0

This is terrible, how can they do this to you.
Raise a strong complaint with the CEO of whoever (ceo@whoever.com). Copy the Business Secretary and / or the Prime Minister because this is despicable behaviour by a bank. How can they expect to re-gain public confidence if they are trying to defraud babies!
If these financial institutions don't know any limits, the Business Secretary and/or the Prime Minister need to show them what they are [them limits] (wot do you mean, the financial institutions won't care?)
Ask them to compensate you for the distress they inflicted. Nothing short of a lifetime pension of 17.98% above CPI (or RPI, whichever works better for you) and £3m p.a., whichever is the lower, will suffice. You can't but succeed. Fred The Shred did, so there is precedence.
Oh, and Tell The Daily Mail0 -
Thanks, that's useful advice. I'll write an email immediately! Well, almost immediately, I appear to have shat my nappy again.0

Good spot! I didn't even realise that I was on another account :rotfl:
I set up an account a few years back, and when I came to post this I couldn't remember whether I had one or not. I set this account up anyway, and must have accidentally logged into the old account somehow with out realising. I honestly don't know how that happened! lol
I don't know why people don't believe, but I am 15, and you all believe whatever the hell you want. :rotfl:
On my old account, I even posted that I am 13 years old - and the truth is, that I was! But yes, whatever I posted did sound stupid, probably because I was 13?! And yes, I do regret doing that
I used my dads details, with his permission of course - for the Very account.
I didn't put that in the post, because it just makes me sound like an under 18, and quite obviously people around here don't seem to take a liking to teenagers.
To be honest, I would rather if you just all kept to thinking I am an adult as they seem to be treated with more respect on MSE. :mad:0 -

No way are you 15 years old.:p
What makes you think that?
I thought it was the end of all this. I thought wrong. :doh:0 -

Bet you would.
May be make a start behaving like an adult and just using one nick instead of umpteen.
You got a very long way to go to convince anyone with a brain that you are who you say you are on any given day. Sorry, mate, but that's the truth.0
