Fact 1 - you would have had to provide ID to open a business account - what did you provide?Still not with you. Are you suggesting that I am making this up or something?
Which part of it don't you believe - seriously? I've only told the truth since starting the thread.
Fact 2 - You need to be 18 to open a business account - how did you get around this?0 -

1. I did not need ID because if you already have an account with RBS it is not required - only a signature is. I presume it is the same with most banks.
2. I don't know! The system wouldn't allow it as business accounts come with a credit account by default (I think). So the business manager who saw me filled out a form and did it manually. I've been told you are allowed one. And after looking in the T&C's of the account, it seems no mention of age is in it. However, what they did was still unsuitable for a child.0 -

And I was also charged 75p interest on the money that I went overdrawn with which has now been refunded. :rotfl:
It's not even worth complaining about... thanks anyway RBS!0 -
I never would of thought anyone would think I was lying - why even would I? It's ignorant that some people think that just because I am 15, I would lie and make things up. So I guess I have to prove it to you. Some people seem to see a teenager as 'stupid'. And thanks to those who actually gave advice rather than doubting what I was posting.

As you can see from this screenshot of my online banking, I have an RBS revolve account, which is for 11-18 year olds, I am 15, then below is my business account and the business reserve account which are both due to be closed. Is that good enough for you?! :wall: :wall: :wall:0 -

WRONG !!! when i changed my daughters account from a rainbow acc to a current account i had to provide her birth certificate even though they had already had it to open the previous account.
p.s your pm just goes to prove you are nothing but a little wannabe. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Not at all wrong - they knew me at the branch as it is a small village so I was only asked to fill out a form, sign, and also put my current debit card in the chip and pin machine and enter my pincode. That was all the proof they needed.
I have a business account - I would not make that up, and you're just trying to wind me up because you have nothing better to do. I've posted proof that I have a business account, and you still insist that I don't. You can clearly see that I have a revolve account, and business account.
The PM was just because I was annoyed with you winding me up for no reason when I was just trying to get advise on a forum!0 -

He's not wrong. A Rainbow Account does not create a 'KYC' status (known customer) and subsequent account require further ID. A business account would not.0 -
I don't think his parents will be best pleased when they find out he 's been scanning their bank statements on the internet.0
