3 - £15 a month forever

3 - £15 a month forever (though it is an 18 month contract?!)
Free phone.

£15 tariffs are VideoTalk500: 500 mins and no texts;
or DirectText75: 75 mins and 600 texts.

I think MSN Messenger is free for life too, as well as eBay, news, weather and sports updates.

Other tariffs available for more than £15 a month: http://www.three.co.uk/personal/price_plans_/pay_monthly_/index.omp

So, after looking at all of that, has anyone signed up for it ?!

It seems a good deal ! What are the downfalls? Will 3 try and sell me insurance? Is it worth buying?
Help !

Thanks.

WHy is it people dont seem to like 3? I have two contracts with them that ive had nearly 2 years now and will be upgrading and taking out again for a 3rd year shortly (these are what my daughters use with 500 minutes and 100 texts). All the time ive been with them ive never had a problem with bills, phones, signal or anything. So whats other people found wrong?

I've been with 3 for 3 years and never had any problems

    - My contract was up last month, and after reading other threads, I called them and got: 500min and 100txt pm, no new phone, but all for 15quid paid in the last month!

Now thats what I call a deal ;)

I have just taken out one of these contracts, no hard sell insurance and no other catches. Free to browse E Bay etc, TV available at 49p per channel per day or £5 a month for all channels , not tried these yet though but OH is threatening to when we are travelling over easter.

Dont forget the £70 from Quidco, also last week they were giving £50 free credit too plus a free bluetooth headset. I also have a Three pay as you go phone (the £10 offer from Superdrug last year) so i referred myself and got 2 lots of £30 credit.
    WHOOOOSHHHHHHHHH……..
    Blimey what was that ?
    That was your life mate
Oh I wasn’t quite ready can I have another go ?
Sorry mate only one per person.

Maybe people base their view on Three from a few years ago when they did have a lot of problems. From what I have read they are very good now.

Yes i think youre right. When they first started out there were a lot of network coverage problems and the signal would be very hit n miss. Now though it seems they are up there with the others with ideas and plans and certainly worth considering.

thanks for that cranky ! I've just seen that the priceplans I mentioned at the beginning of the thread (VideoTalk500 and DirectText75) are excluded from the quidco/3 mobile deal.

Its great for future reference though ! thanks.
