It's only recently that LUS has become an incompatible product with broadband, so they probably had the service installed before LUS became incompatible0 -
It would be lovely if this worked - I would be grateful if anyone knows a definate answer to this as I hardly use my landline and am paying the lowest line rental on it so that I can have broadband as I use the Net a lot.
Can anyone tell me if the BT Broadband packages include line rental as I can't see any mention of it on the site so am assuming they dont?
Its just another cost that I seem to be paying to get Broadband so would rather not have it! LOL! (wouldn't we all!) - can anyone tell me why we do pay it when the line is seperate??
Sorry for hijacking this thread, I just would love to know the answer too!Official DFW Nerd 2100 -

heres your definite answer:The terms and conditions for In Contact Plus here state that you are not eligible if your household has A Broadband (ADSL) line
If it was that easy, we would all do it!

Sorry, I didnt understand that bit when it was posted the first time or the second time... I guess its my fault as I didn't look closely enough - LOL
Is 'in contact plus' the name they call the phone line only receiving incoming calls? And in the contract it says you cannot have this option if you have a active adsl line? is that right? Sorry if I am being thick, i just had a block on the wording here for some reason!Official DFW Nerd 2100 -
