    Good Morning x
Elona - Hope DD is ok x

Absolutely no OS. I have had another GI bleed so have become very anaemic again and waiting on blood transfusion - the elixir of life. My love and thanks to all who donate - you know who you are - it makes such a difference and is literally life-saving x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Good Morning All

Daisy - hope you feel better soon, same for you Molly x

Wet and miserable here too but don't feel I should moan after seeing pictures on the flooded places - terrible.

Today will be a bit of this & that, have DD at home, think she wants to go to town letter but I will see what the weather does.

Nice and easy pizza for dinner.

Have a great day all & take care.x
  • Good morning everyone wet and grey and miserable outside but warm and cosy indoors.Just done the school run and am waiting for my friend to arrive from dartford for the day Apparently we are going to de-clutter my kitchen cupboards She is brilliant at de-cluttering and it always looks so much better when its done .I put a nice beef casserole on in the Slow cooker last night and this morning my kitchen smells gorgeous We will have cauli, and string beans with it and I have a nice box of the last of the strawberries for pudding.
Dreadful day outside but nowhere near as bad as the flooding thats happening in the north I do hope you are all safe and dry.
    Take care everyone
    Cheers JackieO xxx

    Sunny and rainy here today.
Daisyegg Rest up and take it easy
Molly41 Hope you get better soon. I donated 29 pints over the years, then got MS and they wouldn't take it any more:o

Have got out some stewing steak for tomorrow, so will make a casserole today. Don't know what I'll have tonight.

Arm is slowly straightening out. Keep trying to do it!:rotfl:

Ordered myself a "grabber" yesterday. I keep getting stuck on the floor lately, so decided that it would be better not to get on the floor in the first place!:rotfl:

    Have a good day all

    Good morning all,

I am pleased to say my sons shopping trip for jeans yesterday was a great success. He bought 3 pairs of jeans whats more they all fit him!

Its still raining, I dodged the rain as I did my garden duties this morning. I did smile as the wind has blown some beautiful plastic roses into my garden. They look brand new (if not a tad wet after all the rain we have had). I havent had the heart to throw them in the bin so ive placed them in the middle hole that’s cut out of the garden table…. Whilst looking a tad silly they do brighten the garden up a bit.

Ive stripped the beds and the first load is in the washer. I think I’ll vacuum and turn the mattress today. I havent done it for ages.

Tea tonight will be bits and pieces out of the freezer again I think. Son wasn’t impressed by last nights offering of sweet and sour pork. I’ll see what I can ‘impress’ him with tonight.

Nmlc, i hope all goes well for your sister and her operation. It must be an awful time for the family. Big hugs :-)

  • I have just had my box from ROSSPA arrive. Pleased with all the xmas chocs!

Also had a tax demand for £288.80! Apparently they can't take any tax off my pensions, because they are too small, and my ESA is paid gross, so they calculate it at the end of the year. I am now waiting for a hardship manager to ring me back, so they can tell me how to pay. Feeling really fed up now :(

  • Hello everyone,
very quiet day for me today...bed day! still learning how to pace myself so seeing as I am working next 3 days today must be a rest day, especially since I did lots of chopping and pastry rolling yesterday so arms are now hurting.
Luckily I must have known since when I did the meal plan for these next 2 weeks I decided on egg and beans on toast for tea. So at least that will be quick and easy to make.
House is all clean, work clothes could do with an iron but I'll probably just throw them in the dryer in the morning(not very os I know but needs must on a bad day)
OH will be at work all day then out at football training tonight so I'm pretty much by myself today and tonight.

Hugs to those people that need them. Hope everyone is ok :)

    (((nmlc)))) ((( daisyegg))) and (((Molly))).

DD phoned us just after she left the house to get bus to Leeds to say river had flooded and no buses going through Tadcaster.

DH and I gave her lift to Leeds then went to drop off DD's med cert at her employers. Made us late brekkie of boiled egg and toast and when DH gets back from bank will see if he fancies sausage and mash for lunch.

DD needs more clothes bringing to hospital and we hope to see doctor later today when he can squeeze us in. Not sure when they are doing the dye test on her arteries but hope we get better idea of diagnosis and course of action soon.

If I can manage it want to make leek and potato soup for tonight but essentials have to come first.

I read it as "Dignitas in the workplace" and thought surely even the charmers you have to contend with could not go that far!

    Hugs to all

    Hi everyone,
Hoping nmlc that your sisters op goes ok today.
Molly, and daisiegg hope you both feel better soon
Elona-hope the results are ok for DD.

Its finally just stopped raining here,2 days/nights non stop, but no flooding locally. So sorry for those affected.I've been tidying out my linen cupboard, changing the beds(and duvets),washing, and wrapping DGD pressies.Made some gift tags for them.Hopefully we can drop those off later.Just stopped for some cheese(YS):D and crackers.

I'm going to make some soup this aft with more frozen turkey bones, might have some for tea followed by egg and chips, need to use some eggs up.

Might do a bit on my family tree as well, not much else needs doing in the house(well apart from ironing and I don't feel like doing that:p)Feel a bit tired, woke up in the early hours-don't know why,DH must have been snoring.
    Anyway,have good days all x
