...however i ordered one when it said 149.99.
..also checked my bank balance and the order status says the money has been taken and is awaiting despatch.
what are my chances of this order being accepted now??

So really Microsoft have done us a favour by not including these bits, so you can pick and choose. I like the fact that I dont have to pay for the bits I won't use, i.e. HD-DVD.
exactly. i dont want wifi as i prefer using good olf fashioned cabling to make sure you dont get a crap signal halfway thru and that, but there 60 odd quid for the wifi isa bit steep. and also i for one aint fussed about hd-dvd or blue ray for that matter.
i bought one of the hd players a while back and watched one film on it, and i will admit that the quality was amazing, then i thought hmm that was 130 quid then another 15-20 quid a film which imho just aint worth it for the amount of films i watch.
i for one wont be goin for the elite and think that if you can pick up a 360 cheap get one
if you just want to play games and not fussed about hd and all that lot defo a bargin... but if you buy a core then a mem stick for like 25 quid, then a hd lead for another tenner your lookin on near 200ish... costco do a premium for about 230 that comes with the hd lead, hard drive wireless and head phones so worth thinking about. if you like say thanks :j0 -
now back to £199 at play.comneed to have a lightbulb moment0

I agree with you about blue-ray V's hd dvd. Most people are already aware of HD as they have been pushing HDtv's on the high street. People will invariably stick with the familiar.Plushchris wrote: »Word is Blu-ray will go the same way as Betamax, sony are refusing to let !!!!!! be released on blu-ray discs, something which factored in the downfall of betamax at the time. HD DVD is the safest bet in my book.
The other thing is, I'm sure a lot of people will be unwilling to fork out on HD films having just replaced all their Videos with DVDs (as I have.) Until I get an HD telly (some way off yet) I have no need for HD DVDs (or blu-ray)
I got a Premium 360 pack before christmas when the nice people at Tescos were handing them out for nothing (on R&R :T ) and I think its great, I wouldnt mind a PS3 but think the price is a joke to be honest, I'm not that much of a gamer to splash that much cash on something that would just sit next to the telly.
Like Viru.doshi said, Microsoft have done us a favor by letting you buy the package you need rather than charging you a fortune for the package they expect you to have.Illegitimi non carborundum.0 -

Is that £230 + VAT or inclusive? Is it for a limited time?
Thanks

Surely, this has to be a pricing error from play:
XBox 360 Premium Console & Gears Of War & Crackdown & Pro Evolution Soccer 6 All for £289.99 delivered?
Plus 2% from Quidco and 1% from Egg :beer:0 -
Dont think ive ever seen a pricing error on play.com so likely its pretty sweet bundle, all 3 are great games!I'm better off without you.0
