hi all and thanks for replies, im hoping it was movement, about an hour ago i had the wind/bubbles feeling in my tummy (i think) i think im just scared to say its definately movemtn in case it isnt and i get bad news at my scan again, but i have already been "told off " (in a nice way) by my MW for not thinking positivley!
i was sat down when i felt it and feeling was around my belly button, but the flipping was lower down, like when u go on a rollercoaster ?!
    maybe its just nerves?!

tashja, my friend is preg with no2 and felt movement at about 16 weeks.
  • it sounds like movement then - how exciting :D

i never felt movement before 22 weeks, and with my 2nd it was 23 weeks so if this doesn't continue for you don't get worried, you might have lazy children like mine

If you think it is, then it probably is. My first definate feeling was more of a poke, but i did get that queasy turning type movement too from about 17 weeks. Wait until baby is in his 9th month and fighting for space! Alien hands and elbows poking out is great)

When you lie in the bath put a bar of soap on your tummy. The baby will try to push it away and then later on in your pregnancy he/she will actually kick it off!!!

    Hi Emma

My first movement felts just like you have described - low down on my belly and like going over a bump in a car. You soon learn the differance between baby moving and wind etc. They just start to get stonger and stronger :j

I thought I could feel baby flutteirng from about 15 weeks but was never sure

Good Luck withe the rest of your pregancy

Wait till the kicks get stronger. Mine has a good violent kick the minute I lay down in bed on a night, so I cuddle into hubby and she kicks him as well. She was really going for it the other night, and he kept telling her to pack it in, only to get another violent kick back. Baby with attitude :D

Also try different types of music and you'll find baby likes certain tracks better than other ones. Mine likes Fedde Le Grand, Put Your Hands Up for Detroit best, and kicks hard when she hears it. She seems to like dance music best, which pleased hubby as that's his fave genre.
Here I go again on my own....

Can't remember how early it was when I first felt DS move but I can remember that at about 20-22 weeks it often felt like he was bungee jumping in my belly...up and down, up and down, up and down for up to half an hour at a time. And for the last month of my pregnancy he had hiccups nearly every day.

Ooooo sounds like movement to me. Now you know what it feels like you'll find it happening more.
  • It definately sounds like a movement to me..... I cant be sure but I think mine were higher up too.
    G:beer: ood luck with everything
  • Sounds like movement to me too. You will definitely notice it more from now on (particularly when your little one keeps you up in the night, as mine did!!).

It really is very exciting as many other posters have said. Best wishes to you.
