Electric heating

We have GCH but no rad in the kitchen. We cannot get a plumber who wants to do the job of putting a single rad in a now very cold kitchen so this is our only option.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

This is easy. Presumably you have a suitable wall space (and electric socket). Stick on a "£10" panel or convector heater and see how it goes. Try again in Spring when installers are less busy if you still want a GCH rad. Then you have a cheap backup heater for boiler breakdown. If you already have a backup heater it won't even cost you £10:D.0
