i do thank you i'll have to have a look. i was thinking of tomatos, mint for my new potatos can i grow them in pots and is it to late to start potatos?
Not put my tatties in yet but doing it soon
Re your mint question - it spreads like mad and will take over the garden so its best to grow it in a pot as that contains it rather than putting it in the soil.
If you are using tin or metal containers of any kind then be sure not to leave them all day in full sun as the tin can get VERY hot and some plants will not like that.... make sure you give them lots of water. You can also use plastic containers - old buckets, tubs, basins etc as well in fact pretty much anything but don't forget whatever you use make drainage holes in the bottom of it first
Happy growing

Oh yes also meant to say, these people are good for seeds if you can't get them cheaper anywhere else. Packets are 50p each and P+P on top but it tells you how many seeds you get and if you don't use them all then they should still grow next year if you keep them cool, dry and out of the light.

If you are thinking of edible flowers then nasturtiums [spelling???] are easy to grow and can go in a salad.....0 -
