You will probably find the "own" website that they use is in fact run by just eat or hungry house. They've started offering websites in addition to the just eat site. There is no actual difference between using that and just eat
Well, there is a difference if one is cheaper than the other. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -

Every takeaway I use too order from justeat now has it's own website.
Some even have discount clubs and rewards for frequent orders! I get 10% off my large chicken shish kebab and a similar amount off curries depending on where I order from.
Amazingly justeat showed them that a web presence generates orders from people like myself. You not think a savy takeaway owner might realise that?
The 4 best takeaways in my area have never appeared on just eat in fact 3 of them have never done home deliveries either
well thats your experience
The majority of takeaways in Edinburgh dont have sites, let alone sites to order from
never near 9/100 -
No takeaway sites?
Eeee, it's grim oop North.
Grim down south you mean. You need to order take-away online 'cos it's too dangerous to leave the house after dark

A couple near me have websites that allow orders, but one just assumes cash on delivery and I rarely have cash. the other sends an email with unencrypted card data for them to process throug the till....never gonna use that.
The rest have their own sites, but onein particular has an out of date menu scan from2005 where the prices are totally different, and if you ring any of them up it's impossible to tell what they're saying. I like to have my record written down when they inevitably get it wrong, see, and i'd rather pay 20p more for just-eat to provide that.

I've learnt to always pay by cash if ordering through them, they ring fence the money before sending the order to the takeaway and the site has a habit of crashing while waiting for a response from the 'kitchen'. Fairly annoying if you spend the last of your money on dinner only to be told your gonna go hungry with no order an no money back for a week. Their facebook page is littered with complaints0

Using a credit card would easily solve that problem“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Not really.
If you have exhausted the funds (i.e. available credit) on the CC you will be in no better position than if you have exhausted the funds available via a debit card. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0
