Thanks, just got off the phone to 'Rob' at customer complaints. Has just contacted the store and told them thev've no rights to refuse use of a voucher off certain product lines, He spoke to the checkout supervisor didn't know her name though. Wouldn't mind so much, but this is my local and usually get grief even though don't do more than a single shop in a day there. When this happened I knew someone had been in earlier buying the pears. So thanks for that Scamps:rotfl:

Did they mention anything about using more than 10 vouchers?

Had an afternoon of thinking, inbetween life and a's!

I havent posted too much lately due to moving, and house stuff etc but have read every post and taken advantage of glitches.

The last few weeks i have seen tempers fly and nasty words said or offence taken at smilies, people being what i concider a little short with constant repetative questions and so forth. To the point it gets a little disheartening to be bothered.

Today, i did what i thought was a nice jesture and Anyway, ive seen loads of ahhh and so sweets about the toys i am sending to trisha, and my post got more thanks than ive ever had!

I did it because i simoly thiught it would be nice to help someone less fortunat than myself. I know trisha wont take offence at this comment.

I, like most normal people have had some horrible stuff in my life. I spent 18months in hospital at 14 due a crumbled spine, had to learn to walk again and missed school. But worked hard and got all b's in gcse's.

I was in a crappy marriage, with a child, the ex dragged me through court for 12 yrs (very complicated stuff) which culminated in ds1 being abducted by his dad, the. Finally taken into care for rehabilitation as he was abused mentally and physcologically by his dad. I didnt see my son for 2 yrs but eventually got him back and his dad is not allowed to have any contact with him apart from letters 12 times a year, which he has never done.

Inbetween times, i became homeless for a short time until i picked myself up, got a job and then a flat. I met the most wonderful person in the world who showed me kindness i thought not possible. He took on me and my child and we havent looked back. I am now in a comfortable position with everything i need (not want, you can never have too many holidays!)

Without the support of my family and friends i would have crumbled. Some of the support i got from people on here was overwhelming.

Life has taught me a lot of lessons. If someone says something i constuct as nasty. I am never nasty back, and i always try to consider the situation before saying anything. Dont get me wrong, i have a gob and half on me if anyone is horrible to my family or friends without need.

In hospital, i was in a pretty bad way, but, there was always someone worse than me.

Through court, it could have been worse. My son had rehabilitation, and most of all, the love and nurturing he needed to go on to be a wonderful son.

What im babbling on about is, lets get back to being a lovely helpful community without the sniping and taking things at face value. Lets help not hinder. If someone does something nice for you. Do something nice for someone else. Even if its a stranger.

WOW, so much has happened. Im glad you have met that special someone, and by the sound of it, you, your partner and son have become a strong family unit.
i too am not a malicious person, but hurt my kids and feel my wrath!
some of the comments are quite strong! lets not forget that some people on here would possibly take things very personally and get upset, even if they are only meant in a sarcatic way :)

Please stop bickering! The ethos of this site is be nice to all moneysavers.

I do my best to keep this thread on track but TBH it is getting to be a nightmare lately. All the aggravation and arguments, bickering and unpleasant comments will only lead to the thread being CLOSED, possibly permanently, if it continues. <shakes head>
