thanks again queen of cheap. You are very helpful:A I will get the hang of this...one day:rotfl:
I left my shopping list and APG's at home this morning, and got well and truly stuck. I was posting on here from Asda this morning. I got lots of help for which I am proper grateful, so if I can help someone in return, I am more than happy to do:) soI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Had an afternoon of thinking, inbetween life and a's!
I havent posted too much lately due to moving, and house stuff etc but have read every post and taken advantage of glitches.
The last few weeks i have seen tempers fly and nasty words said or offence taken at smilies, people being what i concider a little short with constant repetative questions and so forth. To the point it gets a little disheartening to be bothered.
Today, i did what i thought was a nice jesture and Anyway, ive seen loads of ahhh and so sweets about the toys i am sending to trisha, and my post got more thanks than ive ever had!
I did it because i simoly thiught it would be nice to help someone less fortunat than myself. I know trisha wont take offence at this comment.
I, like most normal people have had some horrible stuff in my life. I spent 18months in hospital at 14 due a crumbled spine, had to learn to walk again and missed school. But worked hard and got all b's in gcse's.
I was in a crappy marriage, with a child, the ex dragged me through court for 12 yrs (very complicated stuff) which culminated in ds1 being abducted by his dad, the. Finally taken into care for rehabilitation as he was abused mentally and physcologically by his dad. I didnt see my son for 2 yrs but eventually got him back and his dad is not allowed to have any contact with him apart from letters 12 times a year, which he has never done.
Inbetween times, i became homeless for a short time until i picked myself up, got a job and then a flat. I met the most wonderful person in the world who showed me kindness i thought not possible. He took on me and my child and we havent looked back. I am now in a comfortable position with everything i need (not want, you can never have too many holidays!)
Without the support of my family and friends i would have crumbled. Some of the support i got from people on here was overwhelming.
Life has taught me a lot of lessons. If someone says something i constuct as nasty. I am never nasty back, and i always try to consider the situation before saying anything. Dont get me wrong, i have a gob and half on me if anyone is horrible to my family or friends without need.
In hospital, i was in a pretty bad way, but, there was always someone worse than me.
Through court, it could have been worse. My son had rehabilitation, and most of all, the love and nurturing he needed to go on to be a wonderful son.
What im babbling on about is, lets get back to being a lovely helpful community without the sniping and taking things at face value. Lets help not hinder. If someone does something nice for you. Do something nice for someone else. Even if its a stranger.
Well said, I applaud you.:T0 -

Please stop bickering! The ethos of this site is be nice to all moneysavers.
I do my best to keep this thread on track but TBH it is getting to be a nightmare lately. All the aggravation and arguments, bickering and unpleasant comments will only lead to the thread being CLOSED, possibly permanently, if it continues. <shakes head>
Budgie is shaking her head too, I have had an internet problem and as such I couldn't get online for the past half hour/three quarters.
I've just got back on now and its more arguing and bickering. What happened to helping people and giving support?
It seems that along has come a mega glitch, far beyond what glitch buyers could wish for and instead of bringing happiness it has brought arguing and bickering.
What should have made people happy with being able to save money, especially in the run upto Christmas seems to have caused conflict.
I think the saying "BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR" is very true.
Come on people there is so much sadness in the world, lets not make it worse on here. If the thread gets closed down what use will that be to any of you?

G'day Peeps and Peepettes
Nothing glitch-wise to report - except to admit that I messed-up big time on my shop today. Was so focused on making sure that I had 6 glitch items, and that I was going to spend enough to cover the APG - that I forgot the 8 comparable items rule
I only got 6
I bumped into a fellow MSEr from this thread yesterday :j
A lovely, engaging young lady :hello::hello:
Hugs to all that want/need them.
I'm making a paella tonight - but DS is already saying it is going to taste bland as I forgot the mussels
Are you in my area by any chance.N1LDA0 -
Just noticed as browsing MSM, Coke/Diet coke 150ml cans are on offer 5 for 4 (40p each), 4 for £1 at Asda
Innocent Fruit Tubes for Kids Mangoes & Pineapples (6x40g)
£2 W, 2 for 1, £2, 2 for £3 in A
Terrys Orange - £2.75 BOGOF in Tesco, £2.50 in A
Would any of these work please?
Many thanks

The limit says 10 vouchers or £100 per household
The security guard said they were monitoring me:eek:
Have to have a look at the rules again, should know them off by heart now. I think i have actually got 10 small value ones from trolley recs with values between 30p and about £3 so between them I could be at the limit just on their own even though together they are worth only about a tenner“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Sorry didnt check in this morning.
Aftrenoon all.
I have given up with the chocolate oranges, tried with foxes cream but no joy. I am just no good at cracking these glitches.
Thank you so much everyone who is.
Did i read earlier that it was bad news in the cove this morning.
Glad to see you look perkier Tigerwhite.
Hope all is well with you Magicowen.
Happy Birthday to all whose special day it is today.
And Big Hugs to all those who need it.0
