Did he mean more than 10 vouchers or a voucher worth more than £10 ???

Can you remember using more than ten vouchers - possibly if you are going in every day/several times a day. I thought the limit was £100 not 10?

I am not sure sure how a security gaurd can remember who is going in and out of a store and what vouchers they have used when to buy what with on what day, do thye keep an excel chart on their customers ....

Anyway next week is October and you should be able to use 10 more!

    10 vouchers/£100, whichever comes first

Bore off will you... do you think the MSE weekly circular contains only stuff found by Martin? If he goes to the trouble of compiling a list that helps others its a bit pathetic to slate him for it.

I'm sure the owners of MSE will be more than happy to have more members signing up to MSE, its not all about you unfortunately.

I don't normally comment on the spats, but please can you guys give it a rest with your snide comments at each other - it doesn't make for pleasant reading. I seem to recall in the DTD days that the threads kept getting closed down when arguments broke out.

I am obviously a visitor rather than a member of the gang, but even I can see this is a public forum and therefore anyone on here is by definition public and the information is bound to be found. We have all gained from various deals, glitches and other information on here, this is one of the latest. From experience, anything that appears on here appears in Google searches within hours. And in many cases anything particularly "hot" gets straight into Martin's email newsletter which then takes it out to millions directly (and I don't see Martin regularly getting accused of taking credit, despite the whole basis of the MSE site to pull together information that he or we have found and he has built a business empire around it ...!).

Once released into the public domain, glitches will spread until Asda/Tesco or whoever get it fixed. Some people will take advantage, others wont get it, others will just not have time to bother or not care less (it still shocks me to see some people's shopping trolleys and how much they spend at the till!).

Personally, I found Henlan's list very helpful in pulling information together as a starting point (which he appears to have acknowledged in his post) but have also found these threads invaluable in confirming other items and getting my head round the specifics, plus getting answers to what may seem to be stupid questions (and in some cases are - search doesn't work on iPhone so it can be tricky finding the right information).

So thank you ALL for all you help - and please remember to be nice to other moneysavers.

And finally, I have cracked it - multiple Asda shops today and all glitches worked as planned - yay ;).

I had exactly the same problem a couple of weeks ago. At the till paying, SA presses buttong for SV to authorise the APG and next thing security & manager are standing beside me. Manager says security tells him I've used more than 10 APGs that month and the maximum is ten (COT - store manager was a misinformer). Manager then decided that there was something wrong with my APG but when I asked him to check it he was all "I'm sure it's fine" but wouldn't check it.

When I was finally allowed to use the APG I was told by the extremely troutish SA that she knew I'd exceeded the £100 limit. I confronted the manager when he returned but he just passed the buck onto the staff. Apparently security had been watching me and by the sounds of it, every time I was in the tallied my APGs then took it upon themselves to police the APG system - incorrectly.

My new saying is ..... just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you. I'm sure I'm being monitored in another store but I'll deal with it if anything somes of it.

Sorry glitchb*tch, must've missed that one:( Got majorley trouted in Longwell yesterday!! Security came over as I was putting voucher through and told me I wasn't allowed to use it as I'd used more than 10 and was monitoring me:eek: Cut a long story short, told me that I wasn't allowed to use vouchers in there ever again:eek:
    I've emailed head office today.

Surely on the T&C you can use more than 10 vouchers, if they aren't all yours. I genuinally do my mums shopping, so I use her 10 per month, and my 10 per month and sometimes a few for my great aunt.

It only says each household can only claim 10 vouchers per month, not that they can't give them to others to use IMHO.

Thanks, just got off the phone to 'Rob' at customer complaints. Has just contacted the store and told them thev've no rights to refuse use of a voucher off certain product lines, He spoke to the checkout supervisor didn't know her name though. Wouldn't mind so much, but this is my local and usually get grief even though don't do more than a single shop in a day there. When this happened I knew someone had been in earlier buying the pears. So thanks for that Scamps:rotfl:

I wonder if he is the nice chap I spoke to yesterday. He must be fairly sick of stores making up very peculiar rules to suit themselves and having to ring various customer services to remind them :D

I keep dithering as to wether to actually print the rules off to keep with me so when the next trouting happens I ask them to point out their new rule to me. I dont think I would get me anywhere though.

The worst of it is that you go into store, all bright and smiley, get your shop, choose a nice bright and smiley till person, get your shop scanned, chat away whilst its being done. Then you get an APG out and its as if you have produced a 12 foot rattle snake out of your bag ....

Honesly we used to think the till persons at Mr T were bad...
