I like the sound of this

Customers will also be able to use a new scanning system so they will not need to pass items through tills. They will be able to scan their products as they put them into bags in their trolleys and then pay at the end.

    Edit: Beaten to it

They have these in Amersham I nearly had a nervous breakdown scanning for 4p clothes a while back & then trying to reverse them out at one point I had 6 pairs of full price slippers listed :o:eek:

Morning you orrible lot, I'm holding you all responsible for my injuries!!!!
Last night I came on here to find more squabbling and bickering so thought I would post something to lighten the mood a little.
As I was about to start my evil old cat started howling at the door so I let him in and in my stocking feet, popped out on to a dry bit of concrete to see if my neighbour had returned.
My neighbour has not shown up for over a week and I have been holding a parcel...............strange.
Anyhow, as I turned to go indoors I forgot about lifting my foot and caught my big toe on the bottom bar bending it under.
As I brought the other foot over I did the same thing and ended up on all fours in the doorway.
As the owner of three herniated discs this was not a good move as my back went at the same time.
So there is me screaming in pain on all fours with my ar*e in the street and the rest indoors....not a pretty sight!!!
NOW STOP ARGUING ITS FLIPPING DANGEROUS!!!!!!! :):(

so sorry to hear you hurt youself and i hope you are ok now but i must admit your post made me giggle xxx

  • Apologies if it's been mentioned already, but looks like the cheese is no longer on offer at S, BUT the Lake District is on a 2/1 at T's. Interesting...:)

    I'm on a real downer now :(

We met with a mortgage advisor a couple months back who told us we could get £X when we came to buying a new property.

With that in mind we sold ours, found one we want to get, got back in touch to finalise the finances only to find he has left and his replacement says the maximum we can get is £13k LESS than the first guy told us

No way we can afford the house we really want now :(

I think its fairly obvious the ketchup mentioned is SM, that is the only one sold for 20p, heinz is £3 a pop....drama over:D

no drama. It wasn't obvious to me as I am not au fait with everything that Asda sell, so was only trying to help whoever asked the question. Will refrain from helping anyone else. :(

I did inspect the packaging and noticed it has the "Tickled Pink" on the side and wonder if this was the cause.... I did avoid the Lake District for this reason.

Surley can't we agree to disagree on this. Henlans is marmite, love him or not, he isn't going to change, so why waste your time, lets concentrate on being Savvy shoppers, which is what we are best at, not legal advisers.

We can all benefit from his lists and finds, he always tries anything we ask, and always tells us.

I have to say a big Thanks to Henlans, though I don't agree with alot of what he does but we all have our own standards, which is what makes this thread so good - most of the time.

A big Thank you to everyone else who posts their finds on here, my family and I have really benefited from these, give yourself a pat on the back from me.

Thats my bit said, nowI have caught up, I have todo some work, otherwise it will be lunch and I'll be off to sada again.

Agreed, me ol pal helenas gets a fair bit of stick for greed but a few pages back, a poster was boasting about 119 packs of cereal etc and got the most thanks on that page...there are also a number of "regular elite" with over flowing attics etc but nothing is said...somewhat hypocritcal I feel!
