never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit
  • I would like a very large wine please not fussy which one xx
    Now on the 5:2 diet.

    Lost 25 1/2 lbs :j:j:j 33 1/2 lbs to go
  • My point was not that it has been stopped but how people may be treat or "dealt with" when trying to redeem coupons within the limit. I am fully aware of the T&C's but I believe there are a number of people who would not wish to be scrutinised as a potential "fraudster" when shopping in their local Asda.
Also it has in fact only been discussed and fully utilised for just under 4 weeks and not months as you state.

There have been examples of those going through tills being told 'oh thats nothing' with £15 vouchers because others have hammered it. I've discovered a member today who has been told they can't use any more in MY store, and has admitted they were doing £400 a DAY and the manager has now said 'enough'. Meanwhile I haven't had one single problem in my 3-4 weekly shops. So I'm not sure we have real evidence that because one person hammers it then everyone is treated as a fraudster. Not my experience.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

evening all - can I have a pint of red wine at the bar pls?
Disney Channel is on constantly here too if DD has her way - Jessie, Suite Life, iCarly... grrr. Having said that I have liked some of the films that have come out of the channel - HSM, hannah Montana the Movie, Camp Rock.

DD is only 2 though so we have Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Peppa Pig going for him and he has recently discovered ITNG too :(

Cold wet miserable weather here so gonna phone the chimney sweep tomorrow and get the coal fire going - canny beat a proper fire.

ETA - waiting patiently for the new series of Gary Tank Commander starting tonight, def one of the funniest things on telly

Argh the suite life, if I was on that boat I would throw them all overboard !:rotfl:

Henlans is hardly a wallflower! If he didn't boast so much I wouldn't ask the question. But his evasive responses seem to indicate tax evasion, or worse, benefit fraud.

I would disagree, I'm no wallflower either but if anyone especially a stranger was questioning any aspect of my finances without invite, then I would tell them where to go.

Doesn't mean I'm doing anything wrong, and I don't think being evasive implies anything other than a desire to keep some things private. He may boast, brag and who knows maybe exaggerate but he remains anonymous indicating the desire to keep some things private.
