Evening all, hope everyone has had a good day, well at least better than mine.

Carp day at work, rush home pick up kids, make dinner, sort homeworks and finally now sat down to try and unwind. Have sent OH to sort the kids out as while they have been sent off to bed they aren't actually sleeping and then they will be as grumpy as be damned in the morning and then the whole thing kicks off again.

Ah well, moan over, seems like it has been chatty in here today, will now try to catch up, a bit.

Snap, just had an evening just like that:mad:

evening all - can I have a pint of red wine at the bar pls?
Disney Channel is on constantly here too if DD has her way - Jessie, Suite Life, iCarly... grrr. Having said that I have liked some of the films that have come out of the channel - HSM, hannah Montana the Movie, Camp Rock.

DD is only 2 though so we have Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Peppa Pig going for him and he has recently discovered ITNG too :(

Cold wet miserable weather here so gonna phone the chimney sweep tomorrow and get the coal fire going - canny beat a proper fire.

ETA - waiting patiently for the new series of Gary Tank Commander starting tonight, def one of the funniest things on telly

  • TroutU, would be good if cats could understand that!
Fortunately Percy has never gone after disgusting things before, or ever bought us presents!

LoKitty - I wish... it's quite a lot to hide in food, you would need a whole bowl I'd think as it's so foul smelling, even then Percy would know plus he rarely eats a whole bowl of food due to his fussy nature. I had to just syringe it straight in, he's now ignoring me!
3 times a day he's meant to have it

Thanks Miacat - fortunately I don't need to make a Kitty burrito with the towel as Percy doesn't scratch or bite...just howls and glares! He does make me laugh with his dirty looks :rotfl:
Though it might make it easier to get it down him in one go so might try it tomorrow if it doesn't stress him too much.

Aww your poor lab mc4martyc :(
I will have to look into the antepsin - Percy is often sick due to his kidney issues, but his problems have never gone on this long before. We have started him on slippery elm for his acid in case this is the cause of the problem.
Hope your lab manages to stay sick free :)

Sicky kissed to Miss Laid from Percy :D xx
And thank you, at least I will be too scared to smoke if I do feel like it in case you get your whip out!
So far so good though, I felt like one on the phone earlier so tried my first ever Flump instead! Disgusting things they are but it kept me occupied!

Thanks QPR10 - hope you and yours are ok :)

Thank you Budgie - I do hope things are ok with you and that you can come back soon and very well said xxx

forestroxydog - I hope your son manages to settle down at school soon. And hopefully the help from school will be sorted soon and then they can work with him and also with you :)

Calloftrouty - loving the pics! :rotfl:
That last one "this doesn't concern you" is just like when Percy gives me his filthy look before sticking his bum in the air and turning his back on me!

Nice politicians answer.. are you in parliament?? You nicely sidestepped the point of the previoius post.. but ho hum the issue has more or less burned out and I think people can all see who is on what side of it.

I have no idea what you are on about there sorry. No I am not in parliament and have no reason or need to defend myself. I was simply pointing out that this argument that was made that those hammering it have ruined it is total nonsense as it is still continuing.
If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused

Hi all. Hope you are all well
Bertolli worked for me today x
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

I for one applaud henlans for making the most of it and being honest about it. Fact is lots of people will have done similar and kept quiet.

Everyone to their own, and I wouldn't worry about his few sales it's hard to put a figure on carboot sales where things will have different values to their actual costs.

I also think its incredibly nosey and rude to question people's tax declarations, being a tax payer does not automatically entitle you to know everyone's personal details.

Evening Mrs Moc, are you joining us in the bar this evening. If you are pull up a chair and place your order at the bar.

I think given your response above, you may have missed one or two of Henlans posts. However, I think it would be best to put this discussion to bed as everything that is being said has pretty much been said already.

I see you are a long time member of MSE, do you have a thread that you use most of the time or do you use a lot of different ones (not being funny, just trying to be friendly).
