Capped at £15 now, but the limit is still £100 per month so no problem in doing 6 x £15 and staying entirely within the t&c's and amassing a reasonable little stash. No better or worse than doing one £40 and one £50 as was possible before the cap. Its all still good.
Nice politicians answer.. are you in parliament?? You nicely sidestepped the point of the previoius post.. but ho hum the issue has more or less burned out and I think people can all see who is on what side of it.I'm sorry, these vouchers are only exchangeable for abuse!0 -

First day in 4 weeks ive not spent 1 apg voucher..
He said 'I've' not spent an apg today, his dd may well have gone but he hasn't!!
Why do people constantly have to pick at everything he says, if you don't like him ignore him!!
All I can think of is jealousy... but in fairness also people don't like braggers. We all know those who are in debt up to their eyeballs and swagger around showing off their new car, new watch, new phone etc... we know we prefer our financial situation but still find their behaviour annoying. Henlans shows what any of us could have done, and I think some people are a tiny bit envious of that. I just feel niggled he is either avoiding tax or fiddling benefits by not declaring his profits.
I have tried to make a few people look inside themselves tonight by trying to think why Henlans gets on their wick. As I keep saying, the glitch (and it is a glitch not a policy) is still very much on, and we can still amass mega cheap stuff from Asda. So what he (and others) have done doesn't affect our ability to carry on regardless. If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused0 -
I for one applaud henlans for making the most of it and being honest about it. Fact is lots of people will have done similar and kept quiet.
Everyone to their own, and I wouldn't worry about his few sales it's hard to put a figure on carboot sales where things will have different values to their actual costs.
I also think its incredibly nosey and rude to question people's tax declarations, being a tax payer does not automatically entitle you to know everyone's personal details.
Henlans is hardly a wallflower! If he didn't boast so much I wouldn't ask the question. But his evasive responses seem to indicate tax evasion, or worse, benefit fraud. If I had a pound for every pound I'd lost, I'd be confused0 -
Oh no, how about a packet of crisps? We have got Hula Hoops or Mccoys? or there may be some doritos somewhere. When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
"oh carp what is she up to now!"0 -
Evening all, hope everyone has had a good day, well at least better than mine.
Carp day at work, rush home pick up kids, make dinner, sort homeworks and finally now sat down to try and unwind. Have sent OH to sort the kids out as while they have been sent off to bed they aren't actually sleeping and then they will be as grumpy as be damned in the morning and then the whole thing kicks off again.
Ah well, moan over, seems like it has been chatty in here today, will now try to catch up, a bit.0 -

My point was not that it has been stopped but how people may be treat or "dealt with" when trying to redeem coupons within the limit. I am fully aware of the T&C's but I believe there are a number of people who would not wish to be scrutinised as a potential "fraudster" when shopping in their local Asda.
Also it has in fact only been discussed and fully utilised for just under 4 weeks and not months as you state. If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly!0 -

Found a HUGE receipt when out, but it was soaking. Have dried it, but its quite ripped and faded. Will check to see if it for a decent amount before I even consider trying to use it.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
