    When people are having an affair they hang on to their phone like it is the most important thing in the world.

    That is the one main giveaway.

    I do hope all you guys taking phones and ipads into the loo are using alcohol wipes regularly to clean the screen!!

    sorry, thats the nurse in me getting all OCD about cleanliness!!

    As for the OP's point - personally, for me, I realised it was all going wrong when the ex became welded to his phone,at all hours of the day and night. But like others have said, stay out of it, but stand by with tissues, cake, choccie, wine and tea, not necessarily in that order!

    Well, he's clearly doing something that he doesn't want her to know about. It might be something good - surprise holiday/party/present, or it might be something bad.

    Without knowing him it's impossible to know which it is. My money's on bad, but that's based on my own bitter experiences and shouldn't be taken into account :D

    Your asked what you should do for the best, and I think the answer is nothing. Just be a sympathetic ear for her. And try not to treat him differently as a result of what you suspect.
