because he says its all in my mind and to be honest i am now feeling that i am going crazy i am watching his every move and am wondering am i just paranoid, did i put that much in the savings jar? or am i mistaken and did he use the weed bag for fishing stuff or is he pulling the wool over my eyes the more normal side of me shouts out no no no you are not mad you know what u r seeing etc etc but there is a nagging bit that says what if im so used to be paranoid as i have over the last 10 or so years that i cant see sense????????????? he has said he is happy to go but wants a £1000 as he says i should sell everything and split it but obviously the children need sofas fridges etc etc?????? if im honest i would of liked him to do the test and it turned out that yes im paranoid and nothing is going on.

He wants you to think you're paranoid. That way he's still in control. It's time for you to take control now. He must be rubbing his hands if he thinks you're going to give him money to move out ! Wonder what that would be spent on - hmm ?

Don't give him anything, it sounds as though he's had more than he's entitled to already.

He wants £1000? I'm sure he does.

Lady - you need to stop being a victim and start calling the shots.

Of course something is going on...of course he will try and make you think you are paranoid, and of course he will make you think that you didn't put that money there - he has had 10 years to work out how to press those buttons.

so sorry you're having to go through this, some people can have a spliff at night just like others have a glass or two of wine & it's ok, but if it's a problem to you, then it's a problem

Bit In Bold ... gaslighting ... Google it ... it was done to my daughter, in different circumstances, but same kind of abuse, she thought she was going mad & ended up on unecessary anti-depressants before she & we wised up & she got out of the 'relationship'

OP - you really must trust your own judgment here. Don't doubt yourself and start questioning yourself. He is messing with your head. The trust has completely gone - what's left? You are being bullied and manipulated - why not let him go - without your money or anything else? Good luck.

Fishing stuff doesn't smell like cannabis, it is a VERY distinctive smell nothing else like it AFAIK. This is not even the first time you have caught him is it? He's careless and manipulative, like most drug addicts.

Tell him to contact your solicitor about getting half of anything, get a name and address call his bluff. It will be a cold day in hell before any court in this country makes you sell your household possessions! I wouldn't personally want my children around someone who could say something so despicable deliberately to hurt or cause fear. And every time he did say that sort of thing I would love him less until in the end I would hate him. But that's me.

ETA: and according to your older threads he has stolen from you before, has two ex-wives in his thirties and kids that won't speak to him. Lose the loser.

I once saw someone have a breakdown after suffering months of gaslighting at work..
They did the exact opposite as was directed and all of them swore blind that he had said it...
Very sad to see but i was unable to help at the time because of different departments..The guy was hated...
