Phew! Well done on keeping it friendly. I've never found my local council a pleasure to deal with either!

    evening all!

well today I sorted my contents insurance.. not only was it cheaper than my renewal quote it was with the AA, with £19 cashback AND I get free roadside assistance regardless of what car i'm in!! So tonight i'm going to find my membership details for Greenflag and cancel as i'm only 6 months in and it says i'm entitled to a refund.. which is an £80 saving for the next year :T

I didn't manage a NSD today as i stopped off at the supermarket and got some milk, crumpets, bits for lunch and some chocolate = £11 :o (well its cheaper to buy chocolate in bulk right?):rotfl:

I've also set myself the challenge to try and go to the end of October without putting my heating on i'm so pleased that its the 3rd of October and so far so good - normally by now it would have been on for the whole of September! we shall see...the washing may have other ideas!

His Lordship is also eating for three at the moment! I thought cats wouldn't over eat... its all he seems he wants to do! I might head down to Aldi this weekend to check out their own brand as I've heard a lot of good things about it.

Spoke to Sky and its a no go but to be honest i'm pleased i know its a lot but its my entertainment :o

Tomorrow i'm definately in for another NSD i have my lunch ready and my chocolate fix for the day. I do have to stick some petrol in the tank but thats budgeted for. I've got 60 miles in the tank which is the red light - which gets me to and from the station for 5 days (wed) i've got £20 left in the pot for petrol for the rest of the month I think i'm going to try just putting £10 and seeing how many miles that gets me.

I also have another £2 coin for my pot! :D

    Evening All!

Well today I had another up day :T

I got £90 for some waitressing that I did a while back for a friends company..so I went on the "grab it while you can board" and :Dgot a tip for codes and discounts on AX Paris clothes! So I bought my sister-in law a dress for xmas.. It was £27 in the sale for £14.99 - 20% discount with a code and then I got 8.08% cashback from Topcashback :rotfl:I ended up getting the dress, delivered for less than the sale price! :money:

Plus when I logged into Topcashback i discovered I have £12 in the account so I've withdrawn that to pot in the debt pot!

All in all I think i've had a good week.. bit of a rocky start but i'm on a roll lots of organsing to do this week - bits to sell on ebay - i'll look for some more seasonal work..ironing..

    Feeling really positive
