xxJoxx - My kids love those cartons but they dont like the strong ones lol.

I buy basic curry sauce, S&S sauce, pasta sauce (we use it for pizza toppings), biscuits, crisps, fruit and veg, meat and dishwasher tablets all of which we find absolutely fine.

Oh the shame, I genuinely have no idea!! Have eaten out a few times and even resorted to a ready meal (albeit a yummy one from Waitrose). So tired and still feeling poorly, we fell asleep at 6pm yesterday!! Will try and work it out later in the week when I eventually build up the energy to do the online banking. :(

Might have to work out a new figure from this week rather than right the whole month off, at least that way I shouldn't overspend as badly if I do that!! :o

Hope everyone else is doing well. ;)
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

Spent total of £93.49. I have a very tight budget of £114 this month (for two adults)...any more than that and I'll be adding to my debt which will NOT be happening! Cupboards full anyway.

My first trip to the shops came to €2.93 - two litres of milk and a giant head of lettuce. Leftovers for dinner. Packed lunch tomorrow. All very healthy for the grocery budget. Going out for food tomorrow as it's my birthday, but that comes out of a different pot :D

I spent about £50 yesterday, well, just under. Fridge is full.

We started with sainsbobs basics, DD had milk intolerance, and some of the basics range didn't have milk powder in, unlike the premiums. In fact, the ingredients lists seem far simpler and less full of funny additions. So we started buying more of them. We get all sorts now. It does seem to be mostly eaten by the kids, but being toddlers, there's often waste. Which I mind less if it's cheaper...

I've not tried the cornflakes yet but I've had the everday value rice krispies and they are definitely worth buying! 70p for a massive box and they taste exactly the same as the big brand.

I second the value rice krispies, we really can't tell the difference between those and the branded ones. We get the value cornflakes too which are absolutely fine.

Another £9.28 to add to my total after I called in at Mr T earlier - 2 packs of cheese plus bread and 2 packs of mince, reduced from £4 to £2.65. When the mince went through at the checkout I also got £1 off on the 2 for £7 meat offer which made them even cheaper!

Bought some of the Nicky toilet from from H#me B'argains this week to try at £2 for 9 rolls - seems good to me. I also discovered that on my way home from work is a small retail park with HBs, B&M, £stretcher and Wilko's all on the one site. Just need an Aldy or a Leedle on there now and it would be perfect! :rotfl:
