You just need a different email address. Users can have as many ebay acocutns as they want as long as they never interact with each other, and up to 8 email addressed can be attached to a single paypal account

  • I'd also open another Paypal account, linked to a different bank account, and keep them totally seperate from your original accounts.

You can only have one PayPal account of each type otherwise you run the risk of them all being cancelled.

Why? I have a Paypal account linked to the Ebay account I buy and sell personal stuff on, and a premier Paypal account linked to my Business Ebay. Keeps things simple.

As long as you buying account is a basic one - not able to take cards you are OK. If they are both premier then paypal will find the most inconvenient time, usually when you have lots of stock and suspend them due to not being the sort of customer they want.

This seems pretty clear advice. It would be foolish for anyone to risk their paypal account(s) by adhering to an opposing viewpoint.

I have two paypal accounts: a premier and a micropayments account.

The micropayments account is more efficient for small value transactions (around £7 or less including postage fees) and the premier is for everything else.

I typically use the income from the micropayments account to pay my eBay fees, as it isn't linked to any bank and the balance never gets that high.

I am the same as you, one premier and one micro. I have two main ebay selling accounts and pay one lot of fees from each account to try and keep my records straight. I do use both accounts though for private and business selling.

I just checked my 2 accounts - I hardly ever use the one linked to my private Ebay account as I don't have time to sell on there much.
Anyway they are both premier accounts, i had not realised, so I guess I need to change the private one to something else? micro?
