So you broke the terms and conditions, therefore incurring interest, and now recommend that we all give up a free £100 because you couldn't manage your finances?

I'll phone up and cancel immediately!:money::T:rotfl:

Free £100 are you sure don't you have to spend a few quid to get cashback.

You've missed the point - the interest charge had nothing to do with the fact that I 'broke the terms and conditions
Yes it does, they stated this over the phone when I activated the card: If you exceed your credit limit, they can charge interest from the day the transactions were made (you lose the interest free period). Furthermode, all cash back is lost.

I spend more than my £500 credit limit per month as well, but rather than the hassle of DD, I pay the card off in full every week, or sometimes more often.

I'd be spending the cash anyway, so in effect it's a free £100.

  • abu892 I think you were a little unlucky, but unfortunately the UKs new favourite hobby of Ultimate Keyboard Warrior is the dark side to these forums to me. Far too many people gloating in others mis-fortune.

It's not gloating at others misfortune at all. Many posters come here with an attitude of blame/lack of responsibility/SCAM/Rip off and false beliefs because they've encountered problems. They then proceed to vent their misguided and misdirected fury on the credit card/finance company for errors which were of their own making. Those people are simply put right, but quite often because it's not what they want to hear, they take offence.

Why does the OP insist that interest wasn't payable. Does he/she make the rules? No, I'm afraid not.
