Well I don't see many people on other benefits enjoying these luxuries

Its depends what is your understanding about luxuries, trip to Spain paid from benefits. hmm, someone is working overtime and 12h shifts and paying taxes. Well, sure it is not my business how someone is spending own earned money, but benefits are taxpayer money and should work to get people back to work ASAP (improve/change qualification, help in some emergency situation, etc).0 -

I don't think so, I think you are wrong.No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.
The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

Typical socialist thinking. If everybody can't afford to tour the world, then let's make sure that nobody can.No-one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions. He had money as well.

Benefits is not for tripping around to sleep in hot sunny beach and spend tax payer money to pay for good and services in another country. Budget trip or not, it is not making any changes, it is unfair for people, who is working hard or benefit seekers, who are using benefits clever. Sure there can be some exception- example, someone is going to Spain to increase qualification or something like that : ). OK, what ever, maybe I am wrong, I do not know, I am not so long in UK to understand whole system.A budget trip to Spain is not exactly touring the world.0 -

Her neighbours are fuming. They say up to 18 people lived in the terraced home at one point, creating mess outside.
One claimed the property was, essentially, a ‘halfway house’ for Latvians when they first arrive in the country.

Interesting that we have had to do a Lazarus on a five month old article from (of all papers) The Mail, I take it these cases are in short supply
