There will often be a debate on here about whether or not immigration (which usually seems to get confused with mass uncontrolled immigration) benefits the economy.
So how does the above story benefit the economy then?

Would it make any difference if she was Irish and living in a caravan?
Would it make any difference if she was English ?
How about if she was English and had a husband, claimed no benefits except those via the tax system but took the kids to schools in a Chelsea Tractor?0 -
Well, the Daily Mail will no doubt sell tens or even hundreds of thousands of extra copies across the year by finding the few dozen cases like this and then blowing them out of all proportion to the rabid, frothing, racist element of it's readership.
So it's a significant benefit to that parts of the economy the Daily Mail really cares about..... Their own profits.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Yet more sanctimonios drivel from Hamish.
Just to start off again and defend my outlook(even though it is a waste of time on here) it is completley moronic and makes no sense at all to judge a person by the colour of their skin, to judge people on their beliefs is fine, even though it can be quite valuable and enrichening to have people around you whose outlook does differ in some cases.
Immigration and the abuse of the welfare system is not just some little problem that has a miniscule amount of offenders and has little consequence to the living conditions of British nationals that have roots in the country, the problem is huge.
Maybe you live in a place like where I do, in a small village with only one black face, and totally oblivious to what is happening in the real world. I can drive to two or three large towns/cities within 20 minutes to witness and listen to accounts of how bad things have become.
Yes the Mail is a turd of a newspaper along with many others, but to write people off as racists for having worries to what are genuine concern shows your ignorance more than anything.0 -

No difference. In all occasions the workshy tramp needs her legs sewing together.0 -

Well actually the Sun was the first paper to publish the story yesterday.0 -

Well as a matter of fact it would. Since you are unable to see why let me explain it to you.
I think the majority of the British public are of the opinion that the benefits system is in turmoil.
But what you are driving at in your post is a question about race. It's nothing to do whether she is Latvian, Polish, Irish, English, whatever...... it's obviously not the best idea in the world to open up benefits to all the countries in the EU. It's a huge financial strain on the taxpayer and some people (I wonder who) seem to be unable to grasp that.0 -

Utter rubbish as usual from Hamish. We've seen him use the racist and bigot labelling before but LOL @ rabid and frothing:rotfl:0 -

Is there not a difference between racism and giving preference to ones own countries citizens?0
