Perhaps the patient could instigate proceedings based on the website statements?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

I cancelled my Direct Debit with a high street optician after building up a backlog of lenses and solutions and being made redundant from my job. After I had used up the backlog I thought I would be 'clever' and get the lenses online. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the lenses I had been using so I got some based on a previous brand I had used ( I had an up-to-date prescription).
While the lenses fitted perfectly, no problems there, no damage to my eyes, the quality of the lens was awful. Thinner than I had remembered and they barely lasted the month without small rips appearing along the edge.
I am now back with a high street optician on a replacement scheme which costs me on average about £2 a month more. For that £2 each month, I get free eye tests, full after care checks and £80 off frames each year.
Buying online for me was nothing but False Economy.0 -

They could if the website was under the jurisdiction of UK law - but I bet it isn't.Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.
