Fibre = Master Socket
Comments
-
Bet it was in the hallway - usually is with new builds and it looks the same as every other phone socket across the whole property.
It was quite funny to see the BT engineer came in for my fibre optic and went I 100% bet you its this one in the hall way.
Know it all.....0 -
And did you ask him how he was going to get the fibre to the hallway....?0

I knew fibre were to come into the master socket, but didn't know which one was the master socket as they all look the same.
He simply asked where the master socket so i told him dunno and he knew lol0 -

it's FTTC, not FTTP, so the fibre won't come anywhere near the hallway, it terminates in the DSLAM cab out on the street somewhere next to the existing PCP, and the normal D-side copper still brings the broadband into the property......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple0
