Do sellers have to leave feedback?

But if all sellers follow your advise and leave +fb first, each unjustified neg will impact the next sale eventually leading to a ruined reputation. For me a sale it never complete until the item is in their hand and they have told me so, either via email or fb.
Unless you get those that do not leave F/B or e-mail you.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

As a buyer, the seller should leave feedback first and as a seller the buyer should leave feedback first! There, sorted!
End of discussion! Thank you and good night.

How is this information being promulgated?
It's been floated around on the PS discussion forums (both UK & US) since the inception of FB 2.0, and now I am seeing more and more sellers adding notes to their invoices along these lines.
It's also worth noting the huge increase in Private listings since FB 2.0 was introduced, particularly with clothes, lingerie, medical and "special interest" sellers.
(although a Valentine Pressie that my other half bought is CLEARLY visble on her FB history, much to her embarrassment!!)<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
on the subject on postage times - and sellers sending out at designated times of the week...
im ok with the seller sending all there items out at once.. afterall people do have lives and i dont expect them to run to the PO as soon as payment button has been clicked... i would generally wait a week before i email asking where it is.. or slightly longer..
afterall how many of the things you buy on ebay are super urgent... i can only think of a few things that ive bought that i needed quick and they were cables for computers.. so i could work on the computer the next day..0 -
It depends on what is advertised. If they are charging £3 for 1st class delivery on something that costs £1 postage, then you are entitled to expect it to arrive promptly.
If they intend to send in 1 batch every week, they should inform you of it in the auction.Be nice0 -
one thing that annoys me about buyers. is when they recieved the package and the postage label says (eg £1) but u charge them more... and they moan..
postage prices are also called POST AND PACKING charges! theres more charges involved than what u hand over at the PO...
you could go as far as to say petrol costs/time taken to package item etc etc..0
