Just noticed they also have this clause in their T&Cs:

Has it been over 28 days since you submitted your receipt? If it's any consolation, I haven't received mine yet either but I submitted around the end of December and my claim number was in the 600s. Judging by other posters, it seems as though they are refunding the claims in batches (not strictly 28 days), so perhaps late December claims will be paid at the same time as January claimants?

IMO it's not unusual for TMF claims to exceed the time frame given anyway, so I would be patient and try not to worry about it. Hopefully others can provide information on whether their refunds were received more than 28 days later or not, and also whether anyone with a claim number higher than 600 has been paid.

Hope this goes some way to put your mind at rest! :)

Claims in the 700s from the second week of January have been settled...

Well, there goes that theory... LOL

Looking back through the thread, I made an assumption that others who were missing refunds had claims in the 600s. Would be interesting to hear from anyone with a claim in the 600s / late December who has already received their refund.

Mine was number 607 and I submitted it at the end of December. It was paid on 16th January 2017. Hope that you can get this sorted out.

Just a heads up, I would be careful about resubmitting a claim as the T&Cs specifically warn against this:

The T&Cs also state that you should allow 28 days for the refund to be paid into your account. If people have tried contacting the promoter within this timescale, it might explain why such emails have been ignored.
Its more than 28 days since I put in my claim :(

I claimed on the 20 December & also received my refund in my bank account on 16 January. I wonder if they lost any claims when they amended the claim form so you could send double sided bills. Although having said that I only sent the front of a Sainsbob bill & have been paid.

Hope anyone still waiting gets their cash soon.

Thanks for your post. I think I submitted my receipt long after they amended the claim form and I experienced no issues on submission. I'm beginning to wonder if the "lost" claims are those submitted during the Christmas holiday week (25th December to 1st January) and maybe their internal procedure failed to log these claims because the person responsible was on holiday? Still, I would expect someone to notice that the number of claims paid out doesn't match the total number of claims submitted.

They have facebook and twitter accounts here:

    https://en-gb.facebook.com/EdamUKCheese/
    https://twitter.com/Edam_UK/

Unfortunately, I'm not on social media but anyone else missing their refunds might have more luck contacting them here than via their unresponsive email address. For those who do choose to contact them via these channels, I would be grateful for an update on what they have to say about the overdue refunds. TIA.

Nope, that's another incorrect theory because someone on the Elite thread has a missing claim numbered only in the 60s. :rotfl:
    I think they're just incompetent.
